The online racing simulator
LFS Viewer from a different PC on the same network?
Evening all,

For a while now I've been using a 3 screen system consisting of a laptop with a 2nd screen and another, older, less powerful laptop.

I was wondering, as they are on the same WiFi network; could somebody (not necessarily a developer) modify/explain a workaround to view skins being worked on from one computer on the other computer (Computer 1 editing the .jpg and Computer 2 showing the skin on LFS Viewer)

If the above made any sense, help me out here.

The easiest way (provided Windows doesn't randomly fail at file sharing) is to set your skins folder on Computer 2 as being a shared folder (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/301281 are instructions from Microsoft on it) and then connecting to that folder from Computer 1, and saving into the remote share that you will now have. If you want, you could use the "Map Network Drive" facilities that My Computer gives you to give Computer 2's folder a permanent place on Computer 1.
That may perhaps be an idea but considering that Computer 2 probably has write speed of under 1mbps...who knows.

Thanks for the idea though,

-Fakeb
