Mosquito(Purely because it's made of wood.)

And last but not least, the B-52
Spitfire, Mustang P51 and this one of course ^^

Quote from hazaky :

Boing 747 also looks pretty impressive, but I prefer smaller airplanes though.

That's not a Mosquito

Not sure what it is actually, looks maybe like some kind of Beaufighter variant?

EDIT:

Actually looking at the nose and tail, it *is* a mosquito  one with unusual radial engines instead of the Merlins they normally have.

It looks very similar to a DB-7 but my first thought was that it was a Mosquito. Though the Mosquito isn't the only 'cool' plane to be made of inferior materials. The Hurricanes were covered in canvas fabric, and alot of planes had wooden props!

Its a Mosquito alright, just with radial engines, the tail has been made larger too, probrably to increase stability needed because of all the torque from the big radial engine.

My favourite aircraft to fly online in IL2, shoot them down from a mile off using X4 rockets, then easily outclimb anything if you get into trouble.

I love that thing, if you want more experimental aircraft take a look at this, and it IS real!

Well I've seen ALOT of experimental pictures, but what's even more astounding is somethings you are SURE are fake and just an artists impression, but in the case of the Flügelrad and many others, they are REAL! The Germans have always been so far ahead of their time but it surprises me everyday almost how the Axis powers didn't seize the world because they had astoundingly good technology. There's alot of stuff on youtube, generally you can tell what is fake or not, but if you do the research you find that alot of it were real (at least on paper) and the plans to make them were completely factual but alot of things about the Nazi's in WW2 make you think it's surely makebelieve, sadly it's not case with things like the holocaust in general and Josef Mengele and the tests they did on human subjects but we shan't go into that.

The B-17 and Lancaster bombers hold a special place for me, as my grandfather flew both in WWII. I'll fall into the category loving Spitfires and Mustangs, too, and further into the cliche territory with the F-14 (perticularly in Jolly Rogers colours...)

Admittedly I know next to nothing about aircraft, but I love nose kanards and forward-swept wings. Don't know specifically which craft sport those details, though.

Which is why I would really like to get a sports pilot license and get one of these to take the wife down to the local restaurant and winery along the river.....
