Waiting for PSN to come back online has been painful, so I figured we could use that time to make a league for GT5

if we want a half decent league we are going to need:
A user with fast stable connection to run from their lounge
atleast a 10 car grid.
Someone as spectator/safety car maybe? To enforce rules and sort times.
An agreement on cars/ or pp and tracks.
And users with microphones.

Very interested. I tried to set one up a while back but didnt work.

As long as we are organized there should be enough people on this Forum to make it work.

as for the league im thinking(Please post your own thoughts for the league as well):
550PP
Sports Soft/Hard Tyres
All aids off(apart from ABS)
Street legal cars only
30min Qualifying
100km race distance
Rolling start led by Pace car

I wouldn't mind being a pace car for a few races but i really would like to race as well.

If only I had a PS3......

30min Qualifying - Might be too long, see what others think.
100km race distance - Perfect
Rolling start led by Pace car - Yes, make a rotation between who does pace car.

I don't want to do any more then 600PP, to promote a more mixed field.

Also i just thought of an awesome format which i think alot of people might get attracted to.

6 or 7 Manufactuer teams made up of all RM cars:
Each team will have a manufactuer such as Honda or Nissan and they will use the car they choose as RM, both car must be same colour but because everyone will be RM we can have our custom numbers:

for example:

-Subaru
1#Driver
2#Driver
Impreza WRX STI '07 RM(Black)

-Mitsubishi
3#Driver
4#driver
lancer Evolution IX '06 RM(yellow)

-Honda
5#Driver
6#driver
NSX '91 RM(red)

etc

Each manufactuer has two cars, those two drivers can choose what RM car they want to drive.

This can Allow for a team Championship as well as a driver Championship and would promote set up sharing to keep the competition closer.

Since there isn't many RM cars the choice gets pretty limited but there is enough teams for the server.

This allows:
-Acura/Honda
-Chevrolet
-Lexus
-Lotus
-Mitsubishi
-Nissan
-Subaru
-TVR
-Volkswagen
-Suzuki
-Dodge

I maybe interested by it will depend on the time of the event, I have to get up at 5:00 am for work.

Well I have no idea but there needs to be power restrictions and weight restrictions. The NSX RM would easily beat any of the other RM cars and the Golfs or the Cuppucino would get left behind.

Off topic - Nice to see you were in Clockwork Motorsports. Don't think we know each other though. I was part of it for a short period. PC died on me and I got booted for inactivity.

I was thinking of having 550PP that way its equal and Allows something like this:

Acura NSX RM '91
Chevrolet Camaro SS RM '10
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) RM '06
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) RM '09
Lexus IS F RM '07
Lotus Elise RM '96
Lotus Elise 111R RM '04
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR RM '05
Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) RM '02

There is 8 possible Teams there, With Chevy and Lotus having a bit more choice.

You could also add the R35 GT-R GT academy RM but that would depend on both drivers having that car.

I like, hope some others join up.

Need more people! GT5'ers unite together and help this league get off the ground!
