The online racing simulator
I use the Gimp, Flame tutorial wanted.
I know below this thread there is a photoshop tutorial, but I find it useless as a Gimp user. So is there any Gimp users that create good curved lines?

I don't know if there is any though...

It's not a flame tutorial, but it is a fire tutorial. If you want flames, you can try using the path tool. I like fire better then flames, personally. Here is a quick skin I made in GIMP with flames. I think it came out pretty well, except I think I am going to save it as a bitmap, and then convert to DDS myself, since compressing it as jpeg first doesn't look as nice as it could.

you can use the advice i gave about the pen tool for Photoshop in Gimp. to save you looking again i basicaly said learn the pen tool, then trace flames to get a feel for drawing them, then make your own. It isn't that hard it just takes some practice
