We need beautiful cars too! Maserati Granturismo

Prettiest car I have ever seen.
It's not really a race car, although it does come in a sports version.. But it's heavy and has an automatic gearbox. Still SO pretty

Edit: YAY the Granturismo S has paddle shift also :P And is a bit lighter.

Id llove to see more Radicals, Ariel Atom and the KTM X-bow! Mabye even some purpose built drift machines. For my fantasy (cars I wouldn't be able to drive even if i tried) the Ferrari 599XX, Gumpert Apollo and the Matech Ford GT-1 (homologated for the 2010 FIA GT series!)

BTW: I'm getting LFS S1 & S2

Excuse me, but those cars I selected from Gran Turismo 1, not NFS, and I did not meant any ricer mods -.- .

First of All, because those are all from Japanese and also are famous Sports Cars, I'd like to see them all 6 in racing in Westhill for example. Not freaking drift cars, because people would drift with them anyway.

And LFS is called ANY TYPE OF RACING. So why we won't see some Japanese Sports Car cup also?

@G!Nho, that's hardly a production car if they're making more than one anyway I'm sure it's quite a limit.

I remember reading about/seeing pictures of that thing before (maybe Top Gear?)

I agree with Ari, I think a KTM Xbow or an atom, just some insanely light tube based autox track car would be fun to dick around in!
.. Like a big brother to the MRT, just.. somewhere size wise smaller than the BMW Formula thing (no not the BMW Sauber F1)

Think about: a lightweight, stupidly overpowered car, with typical early-70's tires, and a big wing on the back.

Oh, and it NEEDS at least 1,000 hp.

id like to see something like (or handles like) an old rwd Gp4 Mk2 Ford Escort BDA or Vauxhall Chevette HSR, something smallish rwd that doesnt spin at the sight of a corner or possibly something like a old group B 4wd rallycar (audi, peugeot, lancia, 6r4, rs200) with a hell of a lot of power, traction and wings!! at the moment the only 4wd car that you can play with properly on the rallycross tracks feels like a group N car.

How about a 1.6 litre Ginetta G27

500kg and about 140bhp. Long wheelbased ultra lightweight limited power racing. Something thats missing from LFS.

Some more rally cross tracks would also be nice, less bumpy, but more dirt.
This would open up the whole realm of Group B Rally cars. (rs200, 6r4 etc..)

ginetta g20 and g50 would be excellent idea and i doubt ginetta would demand through the roof prices for them as they are only a small british company (desperate for publicity)

I was putting that in a different category. Although I see your point.

G20 and G50 would be great, but they are kinda covered by LX4 as you say and porsche lookalike...

Although as Westfield put it.. they would be deperate for the publicity and it would give that real world feel to the game.

i think there should be some pick up trucks.. chevy, dodge, ford.. turbo diesel and that kind of stuff i love pick ups and for this game to have trucks and cars would make it awesome!

More focus on the drag-racing part. Drag racing cars (top fuel, funnycar etc.) and DRAG RACING SLICKS, not slicks used for tracks. If this happen (which i highly doubt it will) i would easily buy S3 licence for £50-60

There is no dragracing slicks in S2 atm, right? if there is then ignore the "and DRAG RACING SLICKS, not slicks used for tracks."

Drag slicks are specifically designed for the special requirements of drag racing, being constructed in such a way as to allow the sidewall to be twisted by the torque applied at launch, softening the initial start and thus reducing the chances of breaking traction. As speed builds, the centrifugal force generated by the tyre's rotation "unwraps" the sidewall, returning the energy to the car's acceleration. Additionally, it causes the tyres to expand in height, increasing their diameter and effectively creating a taller gear ratio, allowing a higher top speed with the same transmission gearing.

A track slick doesn't have this special designed sidewall and provides less traction while accellerating. Also, the compound is softer on drag slicks.
