LFS used to hide all the non-4:3 resolutions (as an option) which tidied up the list of resolutions neatly. I suspect this was removed (at least I can't find the option anymore) due to the popularity of the bizzarely shaped (5:4) 17" and 19" TFT monitors.
Could there perhaps be a way to limit the list of resolutions by choosing an aspect ratio? Any one monitor will only look undistorted with a resolution that matches the aspect ratio of the monitor.
If we had tabs of say:
all, 5:4, 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, other
IMO this would make it much neater, atm my list of resolutions is huge and doesn't make picking the correct one any easier.
