The online racing simulator
Looks OK, but the colour tones just don't look right, I dunno how to explain, but it just has a look to it.
The colours look perfect!
Quote from E-BrAkE KING :hey can someone make me a render of a white '94 acura integra with a carbon hood and tinted windows and some sick 5 spoke rims and a bodykit, i dont care what kit, can someone make that teggy burning out in a small couldesac, or donuts, if someone did that i would own you one, idk, ill do something somehow, but yah, if you can, do that plz

Do you have any idea how long that would take? You´re not just asking for a render, but also the complete modelling, mapping and texturing of a car, set in an environment using special effects like doing a burn out.
That takes A LOT of time, so unless you´re willing to pay for it I don´t think you´ll get anyone to do it.
Besides, this thread is meant to show renders of LFS cars. It´s not a render request thread, let alone a modelling request thread.

my last render for a while, so i decided to go out with a bang

WARNING! THIS PIC IS HUGE!!!!

Ian.H's scenes are nice, but the chrome wheels in them (and I mean all of the renders people do using his scenes) look absolutely terrible.

If you made the chrome more metallic and less mirror-like the whole scene would look 500% better.
the overly shiny wheels are the one thing i REALLY hate about it, but i can't fix em now

9 hours, actually, it was my last render and i wanted to see if my overclock was stable - 9 hours of 100% CPU usage and it held together, and the temps never peaked over 47° (a little high, but i cant be bothered to grab some Shin Etsu and re-apply)
this isn't the place to ask for someone to model something.. these guys only render stuff

The skins I've used are based on my actual cars (see below, or www.mumboracing.com for more pics)... (click for larger images)

I'm working on these renders for an article I'm writing for the website (and a couple of others) on the use of racing simulations as preparation for racing.

aww the jpg quality is set so low that it looks really bad. The picture is really nice though, PLEASE gimme in high quality jpg or even png
Why does the 'high quality' one just look like you've resized the original and made it bigger... Either that or your render is running rubbish AA settings.
the 1024 pic was downscaled from a 1280 psd. due to the postproscess the antialias looks pretty bad.

here are the source files, feel free to recompose ^^

the postprocessing took longer than the actual process of scene setting/rendering. normally i do many testrenders to set up lighting and materials so postwork is only barly needed but currently i havn't that much time, so i hope you can enjoy the atmosphere and the feel of the image with the little mistakes in it.
obrigado
