Race after Qualifying, how?

After the qualifying is over I logically would like to start the race at the position I got in the qualifying. But how is this possible? All I can do is quit the qualifying and start it new. Am I too stupid:-)?

When you are finished with your qualifying, you press SHIFT + R to restart/start the race. And your qualifying order will be the starting order.

Or if you are in Singleplayer, press ESC, then Start Race. :) (SHIFT + R works in SP too)
