Not going to argue with you faster, I can read, its the same, even the entry fields. Good luck with the event, its a shame you have to leech to make it popular. ok i got basice i ideas and i copyed from you i admit that anyway this is over due health problems my mum has and she will have to go to hospital dont know when but i be back and better know i got the ideas but hey this is my 1st go of makeing an event so next i know what to put without copying ideas one thing i got them saved for next time.

Faster - do you really want to be serious at this LFS malarky, because you have a complete air of stupidity about everything you say, do, or create. Now, I can bear so much - I've held my tongue even after seeing your 'website' and 'forum', and I've let you get on with everything. But please, type properly, make an effort. If you're going to be serious and or respected in ANY way in LFS you can't go around like a 2 year old all the time.

Stealing ideas and presenting them as your own (and then claiming it was just the 'basice'), or starting a thread saying "look at this, I found out about the new patch, it's gonna have this, this and this..." when it's been on the main homepage for a week. I've tried very very hard to be tolerent of people who may or may not have the the intelligence of a squirrel, but now is the time to shut up and read a book.

I can highly recommend "Eats, Shoots and Leaves", as an entry level start to the English Language and it's idisyncracies. I'll probably get flamed, for being elitist or something, but people are NOT born equal, and faster clearly wasn't.

as far as i know it are health reasons of his mum... so when she comes out of the hospital the event will be taken place as soon as possible.

Yes it wasn't very smart of him to "copy" the idea's but most of the rules are standard so who cares? bog deal out of nothing i guess...

So i hope we have some upcome for the event we will post when it will be thank you foryour time and till next time :)

May I point out that I never said that Banger Racing was originally the CRC's Idea, I was refering to the TEXT in the main post.

Your both regular visitors of the CRC website (still), so im sure youll see it sometime.

Letting the thread "die out" would have been better done by not posting, but seeing some of the complete crap that is posted here by some its not really supprising.

While I don't agree with the way that he obtained his rules, it's also not my decision, and planning an event is a bit harder than it seems. See when I was in education, I was always tought that unless you quoted when you completly copied text from another that that was plagiarism, which is wrong in my opinion and almost most others.

Does it matter guys? CRC has a couple of dozen members, and isn't really a big thing in LFS licenced servers. I don't know how they operate in the demo servers, but I don't care. Stoney operates a service to those that feel they need it, and it protective of noob bashing, that's not necessarily a bad thing if it's done right.

CRC operating a banger racing 'theme' always amuses me, but as I have nothing to do with CRC I just leave it be.

I didnt see inflaming, i did see argue. Two totally diffrent things. You make stoney out to be totally innocent. All one has to do is disagree with stoney, and he is inflamed. What do you think he was trying to achieve by calling out faster, like he has many other times? Everyone here is well aware of faster's shortcomings. I think the issue goes way beyond stealing some text.
Maybe he was worried about faster's series being more popular :shrug:

i was going to say something to try to chill things out but as i am ATC i will be called the calvary,
but as i am in the same team as stoney i am sure he talked about this matter over teamspeak. so as a teammate it is obvious that my team mates and I will read this thread (and waste time reading after the 5th post or something).

And as childish as it is, it will keep happening until stoney understands that he isnt the only one who makes comments on this fourm. The next thread that stoney is subscribed to, and me or kev posts, it will happen all over again. I agree, it doesnt cost anything to get along, but its hard to do so when people feel like others are out to get them. Ive been ready to move on for quite a while now, but everytime i say something, negative or not, im following stoney around.
And i understand the need to stick with team mates, thats what got us in this to begin with.(among other things)

I came here because its a public forum where i/anybody can respond to anything that the author made public. I saw someone make the comment to which i origianlly responded too, which wasnt flaming stoney nor trying to start something. This could've easily been avoided with pm's.

Of course the crc has no issue with teams and events using its racing rules as a guideline, its encouraged and many actually do.

Faster, the thing that originally caught my eye was that the text was copied, word for word, with your small changes added etc.

You even included the entry form fields that the CRC used, your user account on the crc website is timestamped like everyone elses and its clear that before you posted your version of this you was on the crc website.

Looking on your website, you even used the crc league name "Get Wrecked" (which actually is protected by copyright). Notice is placed at the end of each page on the crc site, within images, and embedded within images & other multimedia.

Using things as a guideline, fine, no worries and good luck if you choose to run your event. But take care to at least change words and wording, then none of this would be about.

This focus on my sobriety seems a bit bizarre. You're Irish; don't you ever go to the pub? And if you look, my last post was on the 10th, then it was followed by 7 posts from ATC/CRC people before I responded again.

Similarly, there were another 7 responses from members of your club before I made my response this lunchtime - only one of which prompted me to reply and that was your insult-laden post which you decided to provide a full four days after I'd respected the requests from your teammates to leave the thread alone.

So, who couldn't let it go?

The bit about how many friends I've got? It was a stupid question - how many friends are people supposed to have? More or less than you? How many more or less? thank god for that. not a tantrum just posting my opinion about you. there is no limit to how many friends anyone can have, maybe you have asked yourself that when you realise you have none, but you do what you have to do to. and the only reason i decided to insult you is because that seems to be the only way you talk to people. i remember you were like this in the crc too. but seriously m8, you decided to call it quits with this thread after you made a stupid post. now now now you are not the only one who tends to have the last say in things, the only reason it took me so long to post back is (not because i had to spend a few days thinking about my post) is because i thought it was done, but no little miss "can't let it go" just had to stick her little wrinkley nose into it AGAIN. when did anyone ask for your opinion? and what gave you the impression that it would be appriciated (i know, spelling it's getting old)? now hurry up post office closes soon, you need to get that pension!!!!!

th, you know i have no beef with you, the main reason i said what i said is because it seems to be the only way kev communicates. he plays the same old cards every time he post nasty comments, maybe i am just as bad as him for stooping so low. but imo if he can make snap judgments about something or someone, then so can i.
