Hello, i have a ADM Radeon HD 6870 graphic card connected to 3 tv monitors 24¨ LED full HD with a resolution of (1920x1080 pixels). I have 1 connected by vga, other by hdmi and the third one with an adaptor from a mini display port to vga.

but when i select in the options to use 3 monitors it sais (translated from spanish) the width is insufficient for the real disposition of 3 monitors. What does it mean and what can i do to play with 3 monitors?

You need an active DP -> VGA adapter for your display to work. Alternatively, you can use a monitor with DP.

I've seen, however, people using a passive DP adapter (probably what you are doing atm) and running three monitors. However, one thing you need to do is make your resolutions BELOW 1080p. Provided that you use something like 1680 x 1050, you might be able to achieve 3 monitor FOV without an active adapter.

Hello rpmas,
Do you have the 'AMD Catalyst' software as it has 'Eyeinfinity' in it and I have just set up 3 monitors with it...very easy.
Do a search on the web...AMD Catalyst software...

kind regards
