Ok guys, its time for a new wheel. Im not really a racing type of guy, but I like LFS, and I hope to get more from it!

So what do you reccomend? I want to spend £20 ish

Someone has offerd me a 2nd hand about a year old FORMULA FORCE GP, for £20 inc delivery.

But I just noticed this, in which I can get free delivery-

Also, there are some microsoft sidewinders on ebay. What should I go for?

you really should just hold on a bit longer and save a few more quid. for £5x you could have a brand new DFP from darkplaces.co.uk i think the site is.

I share that view. ;)

And with 5x, I think, between 50 and 60 is meant, not 5 more than 20. :)

Lol no, I got it from another ebay user :).

DFP is nice, but I cant see myself playing racing games THAT much. I dont have that amount to spend on racing wheels either, i'd rather just buy a wheel and a LFS license too :).

Thanks.

Hope you didn't buy it from JustDeals in Ireland, and good luck!

what's wrong with them?
i've been looking at buying 1 of their refurbed dfp's

Mine was knackered when it arrived. I'm not the only person here who's bought a duff wheel from those guys either; so did Bawbag, and Rtsbasic, as can be seen in this thread (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=3617).

Interesting....

Is your new one OK?

My new one is a DFP bought from ebuyer.com last December - yes it's great thanks :D

The broken Driving Force I got from JustDeals is still here under my desk - I'm using its throttle pedal as a clutch. I suppose I can't complain paying £10 for a clutch pedal really, but I was annoyed with them because they're obviously quite deliberately selling supposedly-"refurbished" kit without even giving it a cursory check to see if it works or not. I would strongly recommend you don't buy from them.

THANKS VERY MUCH for that, they always say if it looks too good to be true then it probably is!!
