S3 coming anytime soon?

Okay, am thinking about buying S2 as the demo just pwns, simply, plus im a f1 fanatic and want my hands on the f1 car... but, with s2 now being on Patch U, does that mean that in a while, when it eventually gets to patch z, lfs will go to S3 and will have to buy that?? just want to know whether i should buy s2 now or wait on s3..

It wont be out for a fair while, i'd say maybe 6months ish. If you buy S2 now its only gonna be maybe £12 to get a S3 license. We are all gonna have to get it anyway lol

At the moment we have LFS S2 alpha

so next step (in programming usually) is LFS S2 beta

and then comes LFS S2 Final

and then far far away from today (I bet not in 2006) we'll get S3 (alpha) :)

There is no reason to wait since you will pay the same amount of money either way. If you buy S2 now you pay 24 and upgrate to S3 +12. If you wait for S3 you will pay 36.

Well, I'd be surprised if S3 alpha came out within a year. So S3 Final will take well over 2 years.

If you ask me, we dont even get S2 final in 2006, but I hope it will be ready before Christmas ;)
I guess we will only have the beta though, but anyway: who cares about the names if the stuff rocks? :smileypul :)

I think most of our grandchildren will be dead before S3 comes out. The devs will still be here becuase they are immortal :-).

Seriously though, just get S2.
