View Full Version : Problem with seperate pedals on MS FF Wheel (USB)

After some searches I finally found the MS Gaming Sodtware 4.0, which also works under winXP. This software is (seemingly) the only way for us MS users to get two seperate pedal axis.
And now I have this problem: allthough the axis are seperated, LSF recognises only three states on the brake axis: no brake, half brake, full brake. Having the half brake only in the very middle of the pedal-way, I basically have a brake "button" at my left foot.
So, does anybody know if, and how this problem can be solved?

After a more succesfull google search, I managed to solve that problem, if anyone is interested:
Download DXTweak2 from here (http://www.wingmanteam.com/latest_software/gadgets.htm), run the program, click on "device defaults", then apply, and everything is smooth, now the foozas can come ;)

Hmm..
I just use the Win98 drivers that came with the thing.. Works just fine with separate axes.

No problems ever.
I have it for over 2 years and it works just fine under Win98, Win2K (SP3 and SP4) and now on XP (SP1 then SP2). Great wheel.

Sorry to Bump, but i have a similar problem. Had to format my HD cause upgraded the PC, and as I don't have money to a G25, i Use 2 MS, one w/ FF, one W/o FF, two together, 4 pedals, ok.
But since i formatted the HD, i pluged them In, USB ports, but i don't have the CD that came with them, and windows doesn't configure it as separate axes... please someone help me. Have the software downloaded here but it says it's not compatible with XP.
Found the software, it works, but only with the one With FF... the one without, it simply doesn't work... HEEEEELP MEEE !!!
