direction of rotation on G25 clamp

my left clamp is overextended and I am trying to fix it, but I forgot which direction is tightening the clamp, so anyone can tell me whether it is clockwise or anti-clockwise?

I hope everything went well, just out of curiosity is the actual thread stretched? did you end up fixing it?

yeah with some tools and some force I brought it back to normal, can't see visible damage because it's hidden within the casing, for a while I was worried I had to disassemble it but it worked out fine.
