Nicky. I literally scared myself of the track when I saw how fast i could be in S1 alone. Maybe monsterous in S1 but its let down in S2. 26.06 was kinda strange pace for me. Not used to this end of the grid! Your in trouble if i hit my PB sector 1 and keep it S2. :razz:

Not sure where this belongs, but it'll go here I guess.

Check the replay, though I helped this racer(explaining the point of the server, how to enter the track without being kicked by Airio, etc), he eventually decided to prevent me to train in peace, and attempted to block the track/ram me off several times.

I know I have to bear this kind of people by training on the official public server, but I guess it might be worth taking some actions to prevent him from coming back later and wasting some other people's time.

In other news, what about round 2's official results, are they gonna come after this round?

The official results are basically the spdodb results with +18s for Reno in race 3 :razz: Deko has been busy recently and we've had MoE/GTAL stuff to do so that's why it's taken so long.

Points have been updated though :thumbsup:

Banhammer was used on the eejit :tilt:

Oh and for AS1 we'll be splitting the official qualifying up into 2 groups of 10 mins as 31 cars on track will be a bit too busy.

New features for the broadcast today. We will be able to show replays of anything spectacular happening, at the fly. (without doing anything stupid such as dragging a box into the stream. There will be a nice transition between them, and you can see that there is a replay, as there will be a big text showing "REPLAY" when we are viewing a replay. We will obviously also commentate that :P)

Shite first 2 races but 3rd race was good. If Scott hadnt owned me in T3 in Race 3 I think I couldve got points. Was catching 10th and 11th before Yann rolled.

Ofcourse, mention to Jack 'av rolled' Sedgewick for ruining a SC free round :p

Pretty laggy the last couple of races... in R1 i got hit hard into T1 without any car that close... Then in R3 i apparently hit Lehikoinen in the last corner but from my view i had a couple of meters distance to his car and wasnt even close when he spun off :shrug: Same for the gtal testrace on thursday.. i got a similar hit from behind. Getting a bit tricky doing close racing like that :(

Qual: 6th, personnal best iTCC qual by (very) far.

Race 1: Had some concerns about the tyres, since my ever tight league racing schedule didn't let me prepare my race set properly. Finalised it during the shootout eventually. Managed to maintain the tyres in a far better shape than expected in the race, though I kept playing with the ARBs during the first half. It was a rather quiet race on my behalf anyway, finished 6th after being on my own for most of the race.

Race 2: Tyres were behaving a lot worse than in race 1, realised after the race it was because I put my ballast 100% on front by mistake(instead of 100% on rear). Had to defend for most of the race, so that didn't help either. Was on 6th for most of the race, but I had to let pass the ineX guys at the very end. 8th, 5 race in a row in the points.

Race 3: Starting 3rd. Lost a few places at lap 3 after some err... "touring car racing" stuff with Isaac. Lost a few more after going off on my own at bloody T4. 12th. Gained a place after Jack rolled. 3 more after the Joe/SR/Neiva incident, which you could see coming by milles to be honest. I then lost 8th by pulling a Jack and rolling at a few laps to go at the last corner. Very rare mistake on my behalf I have to say, but I am extremely unhappy I threw 3 points away so stupidly.

I guess I should be glad for gaining 8 more points, but I don't feel so good about it, have the feeling I could've done clearly better. And too much AS1 makes you feel really dizzy I have to say.

On another note, thumbs down at those ridiculous interrest drops. 65ish people turning-up for round 1, only 25 tonight for round 3. I really wonder what some people are thinking.

And its not my PC for the small laggs, its livestream sadly. I'll need to put money in it, if I want it to go more smooth, something I cannot do at this state.

How was the replay-function working? How was the commentary? What should we improve in the future?

Would been nice if some who watched it can give me a few words :) Thanks. I am also thinking of playing some music between each race, like I did between Race 2 and 3, while waiting. What do you think of that idea? of course not for too long, and it'll be some kind of music as today, at least thats what Im thinking :P Or should I just scrap that?

It dropps out, because I need to click away from LFS when renaming replays and going on the other LFS. That is why the sound is dropping out:P If anyone knows how I can get the sound on LFS to be on, even when the window is not active, then that would fix that problem! :)

You can do that by not touching everything like a twat all the time :)

As said. To get the replays, I had to rename some files and click on the other LFS I had open. So the sound was gone when I was getting a replay ready. That is why, as I just wrote.

Watched Race 3 and from that race, I'd say you did a bloody good job. Replay function was good and worked very well and the commentary along with Chris was good. Neither of you went off on random tangents and were talking about what was going on on track the entire time so well done for that :thumb:

About music thing, thats quite a good idea. Are you allowed to do adverts for other series during breaks like in the MoE races? So team promo vids and the like? That could be an idea.

All in all, a good job Tommy. Hopefully you can broadcast rest of the rounds as well :D

May aswell voice my gratitude on forum rather than PM :shy:

Thanks! :D Yeah, thats definatly an idea, and a better one! I think it is possible to upload them so they'll run without any lagg as well. So I'll work on that, and get it done for the next rounds :) Will probably run some series advertisement, or some really good LFS videos. I have some "old" ones saved here, which I think is good, for example the two iTCC videos, and the MoE video by Nolan ++ =)

I was being sarcastical.

You can of course also rename file with another computer (if you have a laptop around.) Also you wouldn't actually need to click anything as insim has some replay features. But as I said I was being sarcastical.

Other cars involved: 39,41, 36

Brief description of incident:
Me and 41 are bumpdrafting past 39, 36 then hits the back of 41 and puts him into a spin and I get hit causing me to lose a lot of positions.

About that...
There was room for me to pass but 39 is slowing moving across on 41, me(36) is coming up on inside but as the space gets smaller, me and 41 have some contact and after watching the replay there maybe some lag involved as it does shoot 41 off a little bit. And then 41 is sent into a spin and just collects 39. Looks like 3 wide can work, but not if only half the track is being used :nod:

Unfortunately it didn't work for us though, but thats racing :) these things happen and you just move on.

Was just an incident in my view but we see what the admins think :)

Car number 39 were pushing hard whole lap. Several contacts. At the half of the lap, just before T1, he hit hard into my car which caused me to go on grass, spin, and fall from 8th to last position.

Actually it was a team of 5 people who looked at it and we all said the same thing. While the touch sent you wide, it wasn't the reason for you to spin from an easily savable position, and was only worth a warning. The reason for people dropping out isn't admin related, there have been very few decisions this season, but the usual problem of people not qualifying and giving up, or realizing that this is a dead sim, like so many other leagues out there. If you want to quit, we wont be changing this penalty to keep you in. :juggle:

Actually a warning is a penalty, get another one (usually for the same thing) and that means a stronger penalty. 39 makes a pass under braking and tries his best to slow it down, but there's a bit of contact and you go wide. You'd have lost 3 or 4 positions, but you floored the throttle instead of continuing to allow the car to turn and then lost control on the grass.

Out of interest, what kind of penalty would you have wanted to see for this incident?

Well, warning isn't a penalty, it is a warning.
Well again, then i do not agree with any of five of you. I did not loose 3 or 4 positions, i dropped from 8th place to last place (20+). I manage to finish on 14th position but i loose possible points.
Yes i did, i tried to push the throttle and get out of the grass knowing that if i get there i will spin and damage car and loose everything.That throttle probably saved me from kicking the wall but not for spinning. That was risk which i took but that risk was caused by the car 39. We know how hard is to overtake at AS1 specially there.
About expected penalty, if i loose so much and he gained positions because of that then he must be penalized for that. Fair would be some time penalty for that specific race or for next one or some positions down...you know that better than i do...

Very nice point of view. Probably this is your behaviour to all of drivers. Good that you are behaving like true admin - judge -whatever... It is clear to me now. And no, i do not want to quit. I just want this competition to be fair but looks like this is imposible.

WalyCo. Whats a true admin? Someone that butters everything up... puts a marshmallow in your coca at night? I've never been like that, and neither have any of my fellow admins that made this decision. I'd like nothing more than to penalize people, it makes my life seem worth living. But in some situations, I just can't penalize people for things when its clearly not the reason the other person ended up flying down the order, such as stopping turning when heading for grass when and getting on the throttle. There is the reason you spun, you were not going anywhere near any wall. I'm a go cry in a corner. :shrug:

So, at the end there is no satisfaction for me who loose everything on that race...
Again, my spin was directly caused by his mistake, he hit my car, he made me go to the grass and he is not receiving any penalty... i just tried to save situation... i don't understand how can you say " I just can't penalize people for things when its clearly not the reason the other person ended up flying down the order"...

Never mind, forget everything that i said, you can delete all the posts if you want, now everything is clear for me. I understand that actually i am guilty for incident.
