View Full Version : TSW Wheel/Throttle Problem

I have just downloaded and installed the T version. In configuring the wheel and pedals, everthing seems to go smoothly except for the throttle. It appears inverted and in mid position and dances wildly. I attempted to invert it in the setup to no avail. I did go into the config file and got it to invert in the game but it still dances wildly and starts at about half throttle. When I look at the setup it looks backward but it goes right? Anyhow, I have a USB converted TSW that works flawlessly with every other sim out there and has never had a problem with configuration or jumpiness. Am I doing something wrong?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Rick S.

Yes the bar shows this jumpiness and yes I have recalibrated from the setup screen.

FWI, I am using seperate axis

Okay, a couple of things.

1. I found that if I pull back slightly on my gas pedal that it quits dancing! Does that mean I have a bad spot in my POT? Seems funny I don't see it in any other application or setup configuration!

2. If I recalibrate in the setup screen while holding the gas pedal down ever so slightly and then locking the calibration it seems to work normaly. Not sure if that is the right fix but it seems to work okay now.

Okay, now I am able to drive the sim.

My new question- "is that it?"

After all of the hype I guess I was expected something different. Don't get me wrong it is okay but I was expecting a "sim". Is LFS an arcade game? I am not trying to start something, I just want to know what I will get before I spend my money. I am tired of buying everything that comes along only to find it is not what I was looking for in the end. I bet I have 50 or 60 titles in the closet that I bought, loaded, played, and then deleted.

Thanks for your input.
