Hi to everyone. Got a question about this lib. Is it possible to run Lfs with two or more modifications that using their external d3d8, of course with different code? For more understanding i open my thread in example. I wanna run LFS with "LFS Helmet View by Frito" and "Enbseries of Velociround modification". All of them uses, as you already guess, d3d8 lib. Maybe some have a way to combine this libraries or in another way... i don't know. Hope for your help and simply answers. Thanks a lot.

ENBSeries supports additional d3d8 proxying, you can enable it in config.

Interesting, but please explain more and from my side i've try to say more about the thread, cause i haven't got a good knowledge in this issue. In this pic that libraries are.http://www.lfsforum.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=108366&stc=1&d=1282860774
At this moment d3d8 is library of "LFS Helmet View by Frito mod" and it's works now correctly. d3d8_1 is the library of "Enbseries of Velociround modification" of cause is stay offline by this name. Maybe i should renamed it or...
E.Reiljans, you said that i can activate it by proxy functions in enbseries's config. Is your way is shown on the right side of the picture? If yes, it's not workable):shrug: Already in additional config of it (enbconvertor.ini) the proxy fuctions were activated later for d3d9. I've tried to do that to d3d8 library - nothing happened. Pitty. Searching for solutions and suggestions.:smileypul

I think you have to do it the other way around. The ENB dll should be named d3d8.dll and the Helmet mod one d3d8_1.dll.

enbconverter library should be called d3d8.dll, enbseries library should be called d3d9.dll, helmet view - you can name it e.g. lfshv.dll, and then in config it should be:
enbconverter.ini
ProxyLibrary=d3d9.dll
enbseries.ini
ProxyLibrary=lfshv.dll

MadCatX, i did this cause the priority of helmet view is high for me. Simply the way i'am in playing now. Of cause, if i changed the prefix (_1) on Helmet, The Helmet view shut down, and enbseries turn on.
E.Reiljans, thaks for supporting. I tried your method but lfs simply do not run anyway. Nothing happened. And... i do not understand the logic you presented. Why do you think the d3d8 library of Helmet view, should be ranamed to lfshv.dll, how it could be recognized by it's internal config... But, i see that in config (LFSHV.ini), nothing about linking with d3d8 lib. And, continue to logic, you wrote that this lfshv.dll i should coded in enbseries.ini proxy procedure - not understand, how this config should completly connected with Lfshv.ini and maybe other configurations?

I tried your method but lfs simply do not run anyway. Nothing happened. And in this way the enbseries config in ideal appearance should run lfshv.dll, than this library run it's own config (lfshv.ini)... stumped myself:Looking_a. That's why it doesn't work i think.

OK, Guys, and what do you think about modification that combine this two mods. Is everyone of you use a enbseries motionblur? Is the immersion and realism of view from helmet doesn't impressed you? Aren't we aimed to do our favourite game more nice and for one step more closer for reality. Of course, nothing will overwrite real car, but... and i don't want it.... maybe/) But just imagine the sense of what i'am speaking about, the view you will have with such symbiosis would be great. Will looks like that http://www.lfsforum.net/attachment.php? attachmentid=108414&stc=1&d=1283115755 , thanx for Adobe. What do you think about it?

IMO car you are using to show us your mods is NOT ALLOWED for demo racers... BUSTED!

It's very interesting and great looking ;)
But unless you can't freely move head around it's a big barrier in field of view in my opinion.
For example, I play on laptop 15,4". So do you want to shrink my view even more? :)
On the other hand, this could be good idea on big screens ;-)

The thing that gets me is I wear a helmet every time I go riding, and I never notice the thing.
It's really not that intrusive and I really can't see why people want a third of their screen covered.
