I know I used to be able to.. With number 5 or 6 on the keyboard I think.. Now I am stuck with whatever it defaults to.
Where in the cfg files can I change the key for that? I am talking about regular cockpit view.

OIC what you meant now..
I thought for sure I used to be able to move the "seat" up and down.. Guess not. it isn't really needed I suppose as the seating position is pretty good.

You two are in two different cars, evidently some cars allow more adjustment of the seating position than others.

I think it is just the custom setting vs. the in car setting.

In game click on view, custom, then you can adjust the Z axis.

External 1 doesn't show the car when you look left/right/back, external 2 does (or vice versa)

So the game will remember every single car/ the position you set for that car? If so I will have to go through and set all the cars to custom and get it adjusted for each one-

Each type I believe, so FZ5 and FZR will share the settings. Also I think someone found a couple of cars that share the same settings even though they probably shouldn't, but that bug might have been squashed (or I might be making it up).
