View Full Version : I just downloaded the patch and now I cant connect to the master server!

So I just downloaded the patch and I need to unlock the game again (for some reason beyond my comprehension) and I cant connect to the master server all of the sudden.

I've never had this problem before, in fact I was in a multi player game just before I downoaded the patch about 20 minutes ago.

I'm just starting to get angry because its one of those problems that comes out of no where with no apparent cause and just screws me over.

Any help?

Blocked by a firewall that recognised the change in lfs executable?
By the way, shouldn't this post be in the technical assistance forum?

Not sure what to suggest as you dont give many details.. Did the game unlock? is it your firewall?

I have no firewall running and i made sure that the XP one was turned off as it always is

Have you rebooted since installing the patch?

Not sure what to suggest as you dont give many details.. Did the game unlock? is it your firewall?
the game didnt unlock, because I can't connect to the master server at all, and I'm not running a firewall

ok, and your internet connection is working ok for other apps?

I had to re-unlock also, worked fine though after that.

If it was me I'd be reinstalling the complete game now, but hopefully someone will have a better suggestion. Sorry.

I think i may do that. Hopefully I can find a mirror thats above 10kb/s

I just installed another version and i cant connect to the master server on that one either...****ing fantastic

I suggest you post in the Technical Help section and maybe the devs or someone will come to your aid.

yeah l me about it, I was so stoked to drive the BF1 and now cant play any form of LFS. Great
