The best entry level wheel is the Logitech DFP. If you want a pedal set with a clutch and a manual shifter then you'll have to pay CRAZY money.

I'm no expert on this because I've only owned one wheel (MOMO Force), but i think most people would recommend Logitech MOMO Racing Force or Driving Force Pro. They both have a sequential stick and gear paddles for shifting, but no clutch. DFP works on PS2, and has a 900 degree steering radius.

Oh, and of course it's possible to invest a bigger stack of cash and get yourself some 'professional' gear:

Well, you can buy separate pedals that have 3 pedals, but they'll cost you. A lot.

My advice: Driving Force Pro. 900 degree rotation, good ffb, and works perfectly with LFS.

I am now also interested in upgrading to something better than this plastic Logitech are churning out. What are my options? I know of FREX, Act Labs, ECCI? I'll spend a lot but not more than £500, with that kind of cash I'd rather get a REAL car. :)

I found another site with some, im think of getting this one http://www.thomas-superwheel.com/prods/02fml.html as my Momo and DFP pedals have both stuffed up, when racing the Throttle just drops out or the brake holds on or i dont get full throttle. So i think the only answer is getting something a bit more high quality...

$655.00

That's a lot of money :O

I've got my hands on a Driving Force Pro, perfect wheel for the small budget :)
