Before we play the new patch....

Before we play the new version, can we PLEASE all go out and drive the current P/Q physics version for an hour or so, so we can get an accurate feel of change?

For example, I am going to take the LX6 and FO8 for a spin right now on South City, a very bumpy and tricky little track for the tire physics. Then I think I will try the same thing once the patch is out... so I can get an accurate feel of change. Afterall, some people will just go right ahead with the new patch, and then probably think little or too much of it... and opinions/reviews could be just done from "memory" of P/Q if this is not done.... who knows.

But just please try the P/Q version we have right now, just so you know the difference. Try some cars you know you hate in LFS right now because of the tire physics. Lets see if it is going to improve from this new patch!

Hmm, I just did this last night, also I made new pb with xr gt at blackwood and that is what I'm going to test with new physics, it was sure slippery car last night, but did go quite nicely even it was sliding a bit to every direction :D

Well...I just went to LX6 on SO Long, which had been my testing combination between S1 and the 1st S2 alpha release also. I believe it's the best testing combination because the LX6 has always been somewhat tricky and the 2nd sector of SO Long is bumpy. If you're really pushing it's easy to spin at many places ATM, whereas I believe it shouldn't be the case. So we'll see how it goes in a few hours.
That said, since I had not driven LFS for a few months, I didn't get any closer than 3 sec off my pb. Could probably cut 1 off of that if I drove another 10 mins, but I just gave up since I've got better things to do (like waiting for a patch).

I've got a probem. In my LFS Q install I can't find the BF1 or Aston North to make a comparison to the new patch :D.

I think i'll try the uf1 on the oval to see how much I can gain or lose on my current, 1 lapper time. It'll be great cause it'll give me and the people I will show my stats absolutly no idea of anything serious and/or true and/or accurate.

My expectations? I wish the tires won't blow up and if they do, I wish the rims are of good quality. I'd also L00000000000vvveee to see the tires of the uf1 at a 45 degrees angle on the oval curbs... what a feeling to drive on the sidewall of the tires... ah!

Well, I have played LFS about couple of hours this month. Mostly I have been hotlapping in nk pro. My strategy is to wait and see if I can notice the difference ;)

And driving the LX6 makes me throw things around in my room so it's not safe... :D
