You actually have to extract the zip file...

Extract to C:\Live for Speed (or something), maintaining the directory structure (use Folder names in winzip). Then it'll work...

Does your folder and your files still look like what you have shown above? Your directory structure should be something like this which all resides in a folder (call it LFS S2 or something)

And ensure the folder is not read only.

The big giveaway is "Could not write to data folder - is LFS correctly installed on a hard drive?". It's either not there, or it's read only.

Well, what I have done is, opened the LFS in WinZip
Extracted LFS.exe it in C:/LFS S2. That's about it. :P
And yes, it does look like that.

Chances are that you have installed all the files into one folder. Try to extract the .zip again but check if there is something called "keep file structure" or similar...?

Finnish: Eli onko sulla kaikki tiedostot samassa hakemistossa, esimerkiksi .dds tiedostoja ei pitäisi olla juurihakemistossa... Jos on, niin kannattaa kokeilla purkaa tiedostoa uudestaan sillain, että se säilyttää sen tiedostorakenteen :)

EDIT: pura kaikki tiedostot! Sulla on vain se .exe tiedosto purettuna tällä hetkellä, tarvii purkaa muutkin.

You need to extract ALL of the zip file into C:\LFS S2
