Dear LFS'ers,
Team Rock & Friends (www.teamrockandfriends.eu (http://www.teamrockandfriends.eu)), is going to organise a banger tournament!
It will be on April the 3rd 2010, starting at 14:00 GMT+1 till around 17:00 GMT+1.
What will be going on in this tournament?
It will be 7 banger heats with the XFG around several layouts.
The top 8 of every heat will get points, ofcourse the 3 players with the most points at the end of the day will be standing on the podium.
Now this is not just a regular tournament, because people can actually win something here.
The podium at the end of the tournament will be awarded with real life trophies, the trophies are sponsored by Vonken Sport Prijzen (http://www.vonkennaamplaten.nl)!
We have 16 entry licenses to give away, and the following people have already signed up:

This will be the points system for every heat:
1st: 15 Points
2nd: 10 Points
3rd: 8 Points
4th: 6 Points
5th: 4 Points
6th: 3 Points
7th: 2 Points
8th: 1 Point
Bonus points:
Fastest Lap: 2 Points
The heats (times are GMT+1):
14:00 Heat 1 with XFG around Figure of Doom = AU2
14:30 Heat 2 with XFG around oBal = AU1
15:00 Heat 3 with XFG around Chicane Way = BL3
15:30 Heat 4 with XFG around South Helly = SO2
16:00 Heat 5 with XFG around Jumpal = BL3
16:30 Heat 6 with XFG around Extramo = BL1R
17:00 Heat 7 with XFG around Offboard = FE6
These are the rules:
1. Wrong way:
1.1 Wrong way is NOT allowed at any points of the track during the race.
1.2 Wrong way after the first player has finished IS allowed.
2. Lose hits:
2.1 Lossy* hits are NOT allowed, every replay will be checked before the next race, if a purposely lossy hit is seen, the driver will be disqualified from that particular heat.
2.2 Dive bombs** are NOT allowed under any circumstance. If you rejoin the track after being off, pay attention that you don't dive into another driver.
3. Leaning & Lunging
3.1 Leaning on another driver IS allowed, as long as you don't force them into a barrier or banner.
3.2 Lunging*** IS allowed, as long as you don't cause them to go into a barrier or banner.
4. Rejoining
4.1 When you rejoin the circuit you MAY hit other drivers, BUT be sure not to make a dive bomb.
4.2 After crashing out, rejoining the heat is NOT allowed, wait till the end of the heat.
4.3 Rolled over drivers, MAY be helped back on their wheels.
5. Behaviour
5.1 Swearing and insulting of any kind is NOT accepted, breaking this rule can result in disqualification of the event, and future events.
5.1.1 Insulting -TRR- members is strictly forbidden!
5.2 You should follow instructions from the admin**** at any time.
5.3 Typing during the heats IS allowed.
5.4 At every start of a new heat, the admin will make a line-up, this line-up should NOT be changed, if you lose connection during the line-up you are forced to start from the back, breaking this rule may result in disqualification for 1 heat.
6. Other
6.1 Every heat is 15 laps.
6.1.1 For every heat we count 30 minutes, this is because of we have to upload replays and post the results on the website after every heat.
6.1.2. At 14:00 GMT+1 the tournament starts, you MUST be in the server before 13:50 GMT+1!
6.1.3 The tournament will last untill around 17:00 GMT+1, we can not ensure that this is the exact end time, it could take longer.
6.2 Using .VOB mods during the event is STRICTLY NOT allowed!
The organisation is at any time allowed to change or add rules!
*Lossy = A lossy hit is hitting, pushing, driving another driver into the barriers/banners
**Dive Bombs = Driving from the outside or infield right into a driver causing him/her to fly away or slam into the barriers/banners.
***Lunging = Ramming a drive full trottle when they are ALMOST across the corner.
