hi,

I'm trying to get my TV working via my laptop. Via my PC it's HDMI>DVI adapter, then HDMI cable, in my TV.

On my laptop it's just a HDMI cable.
The TV is 1360x768. On the nvidia control panel, I can only put it in 720 and lower, or 1080. Which is what I don't want. In all settings the screen looks buzzy.

Does anyone know what I can do about it? With a VGA cable I can put it in 1360x768, but the quality is alot lower then with HDMI.

Bump.

I can only select HD resolution. When I try to add the resolution myself, it says it is not supported.

is this only using the HDMI cable? if so wouldn't the highest res for HD be 1080p?

Yes, I have a HDMI output on my laptop, and input in the TV, so only a HDMI cable is used. No idea what's the highest, but on my PC I also use a HDMI cable, connected to the same TV, and I can select 1360x768 just fine there.
