Gotta be Collateral Collision. The sheer amount of time and effort put into it surely makes it movie of the year. I loved it! iTCC highlights were amazing, I would have voted for both if I could have.

edit: But all of the nominated movies are fantastic, so whichever one wins will be well deserved.

To be honest I found his movie boring. It was a few minutes of panning around different cars that were really shiny, then some cars driving alone on track, more shiny bits... Could have been 2 minutes, not 6 and a half.

I just think it's a shame that the guy with the most friends is going to win.

I guess everyone who had done even one video can see the amount of work that needed to make it. Like everything it's always a private opinion what someone prefers. Some like massive effects, other dynamic actions etc... Personally I like actions blowing into my face presented with nice camera works and can't be "that" amazed when theoretically "nothing" happens in a video. That's why I like for e.g. Thunderhead's or Jens' videos, action and dynamics are guaranteed. Everyone makes that kind of videos what he/she likes, as Lynce himself stated as well in other thread back then that he likes these kinds or duels, and that's fine. Otherwise we'd end up even more the same videos as we already have. (Yes I'm myself falling into those) So to that I'm impressed about the outcome of that and can see the massive work in that, but still prefer nice actions over effects.

More work does not necessarily mean better than. However, if you want to talk about how much work something took, have you even watched "Collateral Collision" by Start Wars? I'm guessing you haven't, and just voted for your friend.

Lynce's isn't my favourite video, either, for the same reasons Ndrew stated and the voting pattern of the Spanish people in this poll is suspicious (well, pretty obvious actually ;)) but it's their right to vote for whatever they want in the end. :shrug:

I know what i mean, the work wich has, i´ve worked in many projects and videos with him.

And as to criticize someone for their nationality is not worth mention it.

You just don't get it do you? No one said it's easy to do or anything similar. No one said the effects aren't eyecatching, those are wicked and impressive, we already said that here and in the video's thread. And yes, we do know there is no rain in LFS and adding it (http://orange.galleria.fi/kuvat/ndrew/video/sideprojects/fox_r.avi) in AE requires lot of fine tuning and work, which I/we also already said how (personally me sees the amount of work in it, don't really want to speak for others). For once again then, it's a TOP JOB, maybe you won't miss it for this time. How ever for the already mentioned reason my pick from those on the list is a different one. You picked Lynce's because you like that the most (won't go with the train that started here:) ) and that's fine for me, I have a different taste and I picked a different one because that's my opinion.

I don't mind if all germans starts voting on Krani or Micha, all czechs vote on DoN or all japanese starts voting for ..i am sorry, can't recall the name of the guy who made the UF1 movies :D, because i know for sure, that something that comes from this guys is good.

If you don't like the product that Lynce does, blame him or the product, don't blame the voters.

Voted for Impressions III ;) Well slightly biased, but its a film I can watch over and over again. Really a tough choise can see the hard work gone to each of those films.

@Duck: Thanks, we renewed our skins this year. Gotta give credit to Patrick(hellrazor112) he and Jens designed our new XRT skin. And then all started from there, we liked it so much we desided to do all of the cars following the same pattern. So Patrick, Jens and me did all the rest of the skins too, single seaters follow the same way.
