We don't know what it is until we have a reliable forecast for race-day. TBH that's actually never, but we'll take a semi-reliable one :tilt:

Regarding weather: I was considering being nice (for once :razz:) and letting you all have clear skies and no wind, but if many want some other conditions (like Overcast Day or Cloudy Sunset) I will consider that. It would look damn cool, but I don't directly want to do it if there are any drivers who would suffer a massive FPS drop due to it.

Regarding Guest Team: No guest team for this round. I/we couldn't think of one to invite for this round. Plus, it's one less car to crash with on the start. :D

Just to confirm : I added Timo Höfer in our GTAL line-up before his 1st ever MoE race, and received the authorisation from deko right after.

Maddins MoE race was more than one year ago...

It doesn't matter whether your first IGTC/MoE race was two years or two days before GTAL race.

Plus Timo is far away from Maddin's endurance/GTR skills. Just look at this race (http://www.spdoracing.com/eventdb/session/5178/results) where Maddin won against a very good driver like F1RST M4verick and this was a race over 1h.

A considerable amount of drivers have done one or several MoE/IGTC race before the start of the season. In fact it's up to the admins to decide whether they should be allowed to race in the league or not. Ie, if you're a total noob and raced 1 IGTC race because your team couldn't find any other drivers, you're in. If you're a several IGTC/MoE winner, they reject you, unless you bring cookies to the adminning team(and a burger to d):thumbsup:

Well where to start!

First of all, I am dissapointed with my quallifying. I couldn't get a setup right for it and couldn't drive the car at all.

So starting 18th on the grid things looked dim for us. Although I knew I had a heavy car by taking the extra fuel to push later in the stint.
During my first stint, I was getting progressivley through the field but got very annoyed when Deadline kept blocking and I kept loosing alot of time behind them and had a mountain to climb up to the leaders.
I stayed out longer than most and I came out of the pits in sixth and progressivley made my way through to second place by the end of my second stint.
With just fifteen minutes left in my second stint I had just crossed the 2 hours mark and my wrists were aching terribley. To make matters worse, Pietter was meant to be driving with me and he couldn't make it home from work in time. So Burak was our reserve driver for this event and had a maximun of ten minutes practice on a different set ot mine.
But I had made up a big gap to Conquest Racing and Burak crossed the finish line in third position.

My congrats to Burak on a great drive on just being thrown into the car!

3RD overall I suppose is something to be proud of starting 18th but lets see what next race has in store for us!

Cars involved: 14(?), 20
brief description of incident: 14 on the inside, 20 on the outside, 14 just acts like were not there and shoves us in the wall. Causes us undriveable damage and lots of time.

I can't even begin to say how sorry I am.
I did not want to drive the last part of the race due to bad lag on my end. Bad framerate lag at the wrong moment.
Had the problem in the first part of the race and went into the wall quite a few times.

Yeah, everything that been said about the crash with T7R and Xcite-LRT or what your name is, is true. I got the draft and was gonna make a move on the inside. Unfourtunatly, I didnt read Maddin's block. I couldnt react fast enough to back-out before it was too late, and therefore we made contact. I was very surpised by the block, and that the wall came so close, that it all happend so fast. It was very sad to see you guys out of the race, and I apologize for what happend. It was never intentional! Havent seen the replay yet though, but I guess you could have left a bit more space to me too, but yeah, in the end I guess its my fault, but as said: It was never intentional, and I was really sad to see that you had to DNF :/

After we got turned around at the 11th lap and my disconection we ended up at 16th in our first GTAL race. This track was as built for the FXR car so it was a good start for us, I doubt next track will be the same though.
This was fun!!

Our race was spoilt because of that turn one incident. We had no way to go and ran into the back of one of d cars causing bad damage which had to be repaired and put is in last place after it was finished.

Went through the field and got back up to 9th, then unluckily got into a 3-way when another car came out of the pits and I got pushed into him by the car on the inside i was passing for 8th :(. After that I had no desire to continue again :(

Then there was a Core-train for 6th, with Core, SCP, Deadline, Clockwork and SD all almost line astern and struggling to overtake each other.

I had nowhere to go than to backoff, but I couldnt react fast enough to do so. If I had backed out, there wouldnt been contact. If Maddin hadnt squeezed me, we wouldnt made contact.

I should have dropped back, but I did NOT know that he was gonna squeeze me. I had the draft and thought of a normal pass, but he then squeezed me and left me no room. This gave me a heartattack and I couldnt react fast enough to back out - which is why I didnt back out. I would have backed out if I knew how it was gonna end, but as said, it was too late before I figured that out. Both of us could done something different to avoid it.

Second thing, its a dangerous and not very big track with walls behind, you got cold tyres, I dont know if you can drive for your maximum with cold tyres with full fueled car and probably you dont know whats the wind direction and you're in Maddin's back so if you are in back you should have more attention because driver in front may have oher brakes than you or other driving style (braking points etc.) and place where you decided to overtake was not good idea. Of course I know it's hard to overtake someone here but when someone "left you tiiiiny space" probably what was too tiiiiny to overtake.

And I think it was not difficult to avoid it, just drive fast and more carefully.
Then nobody want to flaming you, try to be more carefull in next time and everything will be fine.

The problem is that we have never done a race without troubles (disconnection, puncture, spin...) since last GTAL final round 2009...but anyway that's true :)
