In previous seasons TC has been banned, by gentlemens agreement as it cannot accurately be done with insim.

Just wondering you position on this and ABS as there is no mention in the rules.

As in previous seasons, ABS and TC will be banned.

Unfortunately, I forgot to mention that to D as he was writing the rules up :doh:. It'll be added in the next draft.

I'd just like to submit my humble vote for a day change with RSC. Fridays and Saturdays are for socialising, so any other weekday evening or Sunday night would be my preference.

Well I'm leaning for a Thrusday RSC and a Saturday TBOC, I just need to confirm with D and sort new times/dates etc. But TBOC will NOT change day.

It'll have to for the Feb 20th clash, as the previous week is MoE, and the week after is GTAL. Or be moved totally.

We'll move it totally if needs be, if I remember rightly we have the odd back up day avaliable to reschedule it into.

Which car is faster now with 3% restrictions on FXO? Is it still the FXO? I guess and expect the XRT should be a bit faster now as it is harder to drive since it is RWD. But the FXO is faster at Fern Bay for example, am I right?
Yes. FXO and RB4 fastest at FE [I'd think], probably XRT fastest at somewhere like AS3 - it has the best straight line speed.

It's not. I'm updating the schedule as we speak. I will open the RSC Sign-ups as soon as I have finished.

You just beat me to the skins threads mate. No plates will be in affect at all. I would ask if you would to put a high resolution skin in the correct thread for media purposes, but other than that, no packs will be necessary.

If you're wondering why (which you won't be) I'd just like the racing to be as easy to get into as possible. No faffing with skins.

If it's not Friday or Saturday I will probably sign out :(. 4-5 hours of LFS... I maybe couldn't do that on a normal day.

EDIT: Oh, the schedule has been changed. Then it should be ok.

hmm, FXO will mostly have the edge like always, sadly :shrug:

You say it's pretty full, but over a season you will get a rather large drop out rate. I personally don't believe another race is needed, as last season with the amount of sign ups we had, we never had a grid over around 20 cars. Trust me, most will drive almost every round if we have say.............45 sign ups.

If there is enough demand for it, perhaps next season.

Agree, week after week different drivers do not show up and therefore the +10 people listed as reserve get the chance to join the grid. I did so last 3 rounds last season joining as reserver due to drop outs.

Not only is it 3% restriction for FXO, but it's also written into the rulebook (in the first 5 lines or so). Helps to check Scotty :)

Well...

The Road Sport Cup will almost definetly NOT be broadcasted. I think the fact that we will only have between 1 and 3 (if Boothy comes and gives us a helping hand) admins on the Thursday, tied in with the fact it's running on a Thursday. I don't know how successful a Thursday stream would be, but I doubt it would be worth the extra hassle.

With the TBO Challenge, I will open a poll today asking if folks would actually like a 'cast. I know with the Saturday timeslot we have enough people to make it work, it's if people actually want a stream. I know that, as last season, there will be fantastic racing on show, but if no-one wants to watch it, then what's the point? If there is a broadcast, I will try my best to get a recap video from the RSC race in the days previous. But yes, it's up to you if we have one or not.

R1 for both series is CONFIRMED. The RSC has been delayed by one week to allow the DoP to run smoothly. TBOC will stay on the same date.

I would like to notify people that from now on I will only have the possibility of moving an event if it is listed in the LFS Forum Calendar or with PM Notification including dates. Any series NOT listed or notified about will not be drawn to my attention and therefore may not cause me to make a change. I need support from every one of you to make sure we can run this smoothly without clashes, I just don't have the time to search these things out myself.

A) Is ABS allowed even for FXO?

B) I'm pretty sure I've seen a link to last years competition stats in the event database somewhere, but somehow forgot where it was and cannot find it anymore. Where is it?

Last night I made first contact with FXO+track... I remembered in an instant how the scawen's magic affects the tyres after 1 flying lap, but I suppose everybody will have to deal with it :shy:

If we're going to have a full grid on SO, it will make an excellent race with traffic all around and an exciting race for every single position in the race :):)

AFAIK We don't have one set up yet. As I'm sure you lot are aware we have alot of leagues on not a massive amount of servers. It will be up by Friday at the latest I'd expect.

That'll not be happening with this series no. I've always thought of the TBOC and now the RSC as events based solely around FUN. This means no stupid skin requirements, no safety cars, nothing like that. I can get all the video shizz from previous seasons (I'm actually trying to make the opening titles as we speak :))

At the moment, UTC = GMT

UTC is shown in-game, and on LFSWorld. You can easily check the time difference there.

Actually what I told Wilko is not ot enforce whether or not you use the system, but suggest to use the system to help know beforehand, but meh. I'll update the rules overnight to include the bit about ABS/TC and drop the bit about confirmations.

Ive just looked at the TBOC 1 round results. Whole the time i was driving with FXO , but in qual results i am recognized as driver who done hotlap with XRT :x Sprint race information is good - i finished race with FXO. This one must be edited :)

Btw i finished qualification in higher position.. I think so :D

I looked at the results again and i found something more wicked. My car number also is different in qual , sprint and feature race. In feature race i`m classified as DNF :Looking_a So my car number is 07

It might be annoying for you guys , but i want just to be recognized as number 07 who drives FXO :)

Sprint results are ok , need only to change qual table and feature race car number.
P.S now i see why i`m classified as DNF - telepiting.. I didin`t saw this at rules..

1st line under the 'General Procedures' section. IIRC, you telepitted, rejoined the race and then spectated, which isn't allowed (rejoining the race).

I would like to suggest that you stop people who have the password from joining the server in the middle of an ongoing race, or punish them for doing so.

The only reason they would join is to watch, this can be done via LFS Remote.

RSC is likely to be back in the hands of it's original creators / operators, TBOC may be a late-summer thing
