max 30 FPS with ATI Radeon 9800 XT

It was a while since I played LFS and I started it up and the FPS doesn't went over 25 - 30. I thought strange, how is it possible, changed every setting in LFS but nothing happened. Before I had +60 and sometimes +100 fps.

It was maybe 6months I didn't play LFS. In that time I upgraded my video card with the latest drivers and maybe changed some settings (automatically) that gives the Low FPS in the game.

Do you guys maybe know what the problem is. And how I get my normal FPS (+60) back? Because I'm :scratchch and it drives me :pillepall

Which drivers have you got? Newer ATI drivers screwed the FPS a lot, I think they were the Catalyst 5.x's or something like that.

Get 6.3, or go back to 5.11.

My Catalyst version is 5.13, I will update them and let you know

Read the thread and downloaded the latest 6.4 drivers and LFS works perfect again. +100 - 130 fps
