First of all download the LFS zip file.
Next extract the entire Zip to its own directory (mines in E:\Games\LiveForSpeed, but anything will do).
Now go into the directory where you unzipped LFS. Double click on "LFS.exe" to run.
Depending on what operating system you run on, and what software you have installed, will affect how you unzip a file.
Edit:
Make sure you havent downloaded the Patch (which is only about 2mb). The whole install of LFS is about 130mb-ish, if I remember.

No Swearing please.
Have you downloaded the full version? and not just the patch? (as the_angry_angel said earlier)
Edit:

i unzip'd the LFS_S2_ALPHA_P game, and then i got all these files like .ban, jpeg, .Isn, .Lyt, and .RAW files, and one application, but i tryed to open that and it sed "could not write to data folder - is LFS correctly installed on hard drive"

where those files inside folders?
you should have a folder structure containing these files

nope no folders

It looks like you unziped the files without the folder structure :s

I am not at home just now so I cant post the folder structure, but you should have a data folder and withing hte data folder there are several folders containing several files.
What program did you use to unzip?

@Pabs(Sco): man, you have endless patience. I envy you ;) don't worry, it can't take MUCH longer till he manages the "task".
@CoYLeZ: I trust Pabs to guide you to a safe shore. Just follow his advice closely.

Well he needs help to get this great game working :D I can only do what I can.

Easy as 1,2,3..
Unzip the contents of the patch zip into the folder where you unpacked S2 onto. In other words the patch files have to replace the S2 files.

He could have used some "other" zip utility that did not extract the files with the directory structure. It would be nice to know what utitlity he used.
Remember people, some users may not be very PC literate but still play games. Most games guide the user through the instalation.
LFS is different from 90% of games on the market, its installation is strange when compared to most other games so it can be confusing.

In Winzip you see no folder structure like in explorer, but you see the path behind the filename.
So, here i have two pics, which should help you:

There hasn't been an installer provided. But I have created one. There's no way for me to post it to the forums here. But if anyone needs it, they can download it off my site (45KBps). Just leave me a message here/or private chat in the LFS Mailbox (in the LFS desktop). I don't have much bandwidth on my cable modem, so I don't want to give it out to too many people, but ask me and I'll likely let you download it.
It has an actual installer UI.
It has both the game and the quick skin viewer.
It has a real uninstaller.
It writes the correct registries so Windows knows it exists.
It shows up in "add/remove programs".
It takes all the guesswork out of extracting a .zip file.
It creates desktop and/or start menu shotcuts (optional).
It is a "real" installer!
With all this, it is also 16MB smaller than the .zip file provided from the LFS site.

Great job, I'm sure alot of people will love to have that when they install S2. If it wasn't that I already have S2 installed the way I want it, I would've asked you for it as well.

The installer .EXEs are being hosted by another LFS member (ORION -- thanks!). Here are the links (they are both the same file, just different servers):
http://www.zt-racing.com/downloads/files/Live_For_Speed_S2-ALPHA-Q_Install.exe
http://zt.racenetwork.de/zt-files/Live_For_Speed_S2-ALPHA-Q_Install.exe
This will install LFS like a real program. It also has the skin viewer packaged with it.
