We in IRM have the great pleasure to invite you all to a funrace at the coming track in the GTAL. The race is held this coming Monday.

If you sign up here your password will be send to you through the lfsforum.net forum PM system. If you sign up at liveforspeed.se (http://forum.liveforspeed.se/viewforum.php?f=20) (rekomended) that automatic system will send you the password.

The race is going to broadcast live at tv.liveforspeed.se/ (http://tv.liveforspeed.se/)

Torsdagsrace shortly (TR)
- TR have two servers, Torsdagsrace A och Torsdagsrace B: if more then 32 are racing we will be divided into two divisions.
- You can practise/qualify at any of the two servers, the times are allways mended.
- During the qualify session you can press shift-i at any time to see the mended result in a special tabel.
- You might change server after the qualify session. The special tabel will show you what server you are going to perform your race.

Schedule (all times in CET)
19:00: Warmup / Practise. The servers get into private.
21.00: 30 min qualify session start
21:45: Race start

Don't be scared to visit the Swedish thread, it should show up in english lang if youre not familiar with our strange language :D

Also note that this is a individual race, no driver switch. You are also allowed to telepit during qualification.
We wanna have South City crowded with cars so tell your teammates to join this event as well :thumb:

Soth city city council did not permit us to race on Thursday, they though it was to dangerous having 32 crazy drunk drivers on the track, all of them with a bottle of champagne in the passenger seat :smileypul
SO City Police will enforce that there will be no drinking on track, so u better shape up before u leave pit guys :p

In the Torsdagsraces, the password is sent 1 hour before the beginning of the schedule, IIRC.

So if it's like that here as well, you should receive it in a bit more than one hour.

Yes Z is right, we send the password out at 19.00 (CET (GMT +1)) when the servers gets private. Before that the servers are public.

I was racing on server B and had a GREAT time with many thrilling fights.
Did a bad quali and started as nr 12 on the grid, but tonite i had really good pace and ended up on the podium as nr 3 (on B)

If there's any interest IRM will arrange "GTAL pre FUN-races" in the future too! Pls post a comment in this forum and tell us if you think this is a good idea!

Well guys, thanks for the racing! Quite pleased how it turned out considering it's my first endurance race:D My luck just had to have it a 1hour 30 minutes race on South City :schwitz:


Could you post the replays and some stats, please? Or upload them to Spdo? Hell, even posting just the replays is good enough for me :)

I apoligize to the late registered. We have a rule that says if you miss the qualify you can still take part of the event, at the last place at Torsdagsrace B server.

In the A-server it was a bit hectic. The first pile up lifted me from 13th to 5th. After that I had great battles during the whole race but manage with my perfect pitstop snatch the fourth place. For once the strategy payed off ... :)

Thank you all for this great test race. I was very tired and didnt get much sleep last night , tried to concentrated but didnt do that well. Anyway i had started p14 in serverA and finished p6. I got good scenes from race when battle with IRM and 7Karat pilots , sure we all wants to race again. Keep it alive please :thumb:

It´s always fun to race, but i had a troubled time in this one. On lap 7 i think then Texas LTU and AsnL crashed and i hit them as i had nowhere to go and got heavy damage and my race was over. I chose to drive until 36 laps were left and stopped for repair that took ages to complete.

Anyway, thanks for organizing this race, Bertil & co. Race ya later :)
