Hi,

I had to download a new copy of LFS S2 because my harddrive crashed yesterday (Windows reinstall included)! Following problem occurs now when i try to start LFS: "Could not initialise graphics"

System data:

CPU: Athlon XP 3200
Graphics: Radeon 9700
Ram: 1GB
OS: Win XP Service Pack 1

I got nforce and ati drivers + Direct X 9.

Any Ideas where ´s the problem? :-S

Usually restarting my computer would do that, or trying to open LFS again.

But if nothing helps, then reinstall LFS I guess.

If you have the most recent ATI GFX drivers (6.3 i think EDIT:6.4 is just out) and you use the CCC you need SP2 and .net framework 1.1 and 2.0 installed . try checking in device manager and see if you have a little yellow warning icon next to your display adapter in the list.
EDIT: or just visit windows update site.
