Is There a Way to Use a Shifter That Just Does Up and Down?

Is there a way to use a wheel that has a shifter that can only click up or click down? I converted my XBOX1 wheel into a USB and it's working but the problem is that it doesn't have a H-shifter. It just has the click up and click down.

So, is there a way to use this wheel without having to use Automatic?

Yes. In Options - Driver set Gear Shift mode to Sequential. Then in Controls bind the Shift up and shift down buttons to your shifter.

That still does it automatically. I don't want it to change the gears at all except for when I click up or click down the shifter.

Press shift-g until it comes up with "Gear Select - Shifter" in the top left corner :)

Since he doesn't have an H-gate shifter, it'd actually be "Gear shift mode - sequential" :thumb:

Yeah. The first person was right. I guess I left it on Auto when I thought I switched to Sequential.
