weird thing that has happened

Yesterday my computer randomly restarted on me(i dont know why) and when i got back on lfs, it started up like i was a new user and asked for my name and language and things. Some of my things got deleted. Luckly my setups and buttons and stuff are fine but my view was changed back to default i think. I put it back to where i had them but the view stills seems like it doesnt stay center and moves when i turn. I use follow view btw.

Anyone else expierencing this?

file and folders permissions... either you don't have write access, or the files are marked read-only. :shrug:

did you try the installer in the test patches thread? word has it, it should assure the proper permissions on your install.

i found the problem! it was the fixed to forward axis. i clicked no and its back where it was yay!! haha. thanks for trying to help me!

I think you've experienced loss due to file system/hard disk damage. If it's the first, a simple backup-format-copy from the backup will be ok, but if it's a hard disk problem it's a little bit more complex.

It might NOT be data loss, because LFS usually loses it's settings if it's exited violently.
