Season 2010: Website Team Pages

Hello!

So as most of you know, we have a new website now.

What we need from you, the teams, is for some manager of the team, the manager or Vice-Manager to look at your team's page at http://newdimensionracing.com/index.php/gtal-menu/gtal-teams and EMAIL ONLY any updates. Chances are, if it wasn't emailed but PMed and it wasn't received the day before I did this, it's not on there, because I have had loads of PMs lately, and I shouldn't have to look through them when you could just as easily have spammed the ndr gmail :P

So what also would be excellent to have from the teams:

Brief Team Bio (about a paragraph).

Team Website link
A brief bio (a few sentences) about each driver, something about LFS and then outside of LFS hobbies.

sooner the better, preferably before midweek NEXT week.

Of course, we prefer a slightly more professional tone, but we'll take anything. This is an excellent example.

I should mention that car renders with your GTAL car are also extremely welcome. We could use it to spice up the pages a bit.

No place for reserve teams there?

Just look at how season 2009 went, and how fast the reserve teams had the opportunity to race. I guess it'd be better for you to add them right know rather than doing never-ending updates each time a "main" team decide to stop bothering showing-up.

For the record, last year, there was 19 participants in the last round, out of 36 signs-up throughout the season, which represents a ratio of 53%. Also remember that last year saw only 5 rounds, while this season will have 8.

when will you update the info for 4SRT, that you asked to send? I mean about driver biography and telling about the team, team's website etc.. :P I send it one of the first, but I noticed that you updated for some other teams, but not for us. :shrug:

I'm actually waiting on our guy Ellis to be on MSN long enough so I can tell him to do all that...incidentally, I have just now told him and he should get on with it tommorow or tonight after homeworks. :Looking_a

I updated some other teams because I had time to do two teams. Then I ran out of time to do all the others.

JO53PHS has gotten busy. Actually, I'll sort out a way for ONE person in each team who can author their own teams pages, subject to approval and editing by us. I'll take care of that after this round.

Right, I've updated all team pages to a consistent layout, and included as much information as you have sent me / I can obtain via other methods :D

Disclaimer:

If it says "This team does not have a website", it is because

a) This team does not have a website
b) You didn't tell me about your website
c) I can't find your website on a Google search

If sections are missing, it is because

a) You have not emailed the required information
b) I have not been able to steal the information from your website
c) J@tko did not know the information

If your Team Roster is wrong, it is because

a) I missed an email in the NDR inbox and forgot to update the changes
b) You told deko on MSN about the changes, and therefore I didn't know about them

Don't worry if the roster is wrong, Deko has an official (correct and up to date) list of rosters (I believe?). Please do tell me if you want the roster on the website corrected though.

New Roster changes should still be emailed for review by Deko.
