I dont think that there is one at the moment but u can use a trick...

Press the Lights button and hold it.
While holding it press alt-tab or the windows key on your keyboard and exit the game.
Enter the game again and the pressed button is being pressed all the time until you hit it again so the lights remain on until you press the button again to switch them off.

wouldn't it be cool if we could pop open the lights on the xr cars?

That has been a long long long dream of us drifters :)

I've used Morfeus's technique before, but when I go to type a message they turn off :(

The original Switch app was made by Andylec, also the maker of BeSpoke. I am not sure if Andy's Switch will return for S2 but if it does you will not be likely to see it until S2 actually is released. Both programs depend on LFS.exe, which changes with every build and patch, and so the apps must be changed too.

i don't see the big deal for leaving (what appear to be fog lights on the XR TT, GTR), on.

They don't give off any light or anything.......

Ok, then don't give light but it's cooler with the lights on.
It would be cool if the rear lights would turn on aswell.

I mean... Scawen could program this within a minute or so, why not ask him to implement it directly into LFS? :)

Have fun, hehe!

For anyone using the Logitech Wingman software, there's another easy way around this, that i prefer to AltTabbing. In LFs, set the flash lights on button to a button on the keyboard that doesnt get used much. (I had it set to G, but this caused problems when i typed a mesage, as you'll probably come to understand)

So anyway, say it is set to G, go into the wingman profiler, and choose your lights on button, choose to record a command, and press down G. now, click to stop recording, and then lift off g. The action of pressing down G would have been recorded, but not the lifting off. So obvously now, when you press whichever button you assigned this to, it will be like you're constantly holding down the G key. This obviously posed problems when typing a message, so perhaps the shift button would be a better assignment. then just record the lifting off of the g key as another control, and map that to your lights off button on the wheel. Works for me anyway.

Sorry if that was hard to udnerstand, basically, go to New Command. Click record, press down the key you've assigned as your light flash in LFS, click stop recording with the key still held down.

hope that helps.

It would be cool if the rear lights would turn on aswell.

People would think your braking all the time :D

Do you think the car in front of you is braking all the time if he has lights on? :really:

Vendetta

Well, allmost all cars rear lights turn red when someone is braking. So, if someone turns their rear lights on while driving it will seem like their braking.

But you know, that brake lights have more powerful bulbs (or LED's, whatever), causing the brake lights to be brighter than normal back lights, don't you?

[Off Topic]It wouldn't be that hard to put in projected lights. It would just be set up like ghostcar![/Off Topic]

We will have working lights when we need it for racing at night :) I'm pretty sure that means S3.
