Gaaah!
Horrible ending to an already ****ed up stint!
I was having epic fps issues every 5 laps or so, when my fps just dropped to 15 for around 30 seconds, so i had to slow down every time..
Not to speak of contact with other drivers. Really really blind ngt's and gt2's on server 2.
Yann, what the **** were you thinking there? You didn't see blue flags AND you don't have mirrors?
And to end my miserable stint with, my lfs just froze and started looping 45 minutes into the stint.
I'm so pissed >:|

I'm happy with my 1 hour stint from 3-4 for SRS. We're still leading the server, and I think I only made one error that cost us around 2 seconds.
NGTs, you're doing a great job being lapped, although you don't have to drive onto the grass when you see me coming! I'll find a way through when it's safe :)

Yann, what the **** were you thinking there? You didn't see blue flags AND you don't have mirrors?
You were the faster car and therefore you were in charge of leading a responsibly safe move. GT2s aren't gonna give you 5 meters of tarmac just for their majesties the GT1s, you know. You tried to rush on the kerb while I was just following my line(thinking that as you were faster you were gonna go round the inside), and we touched. Fair enough.
Fuse5
17th October 2009, 23:09
I'm not expecting you to yield where its not possible.
But I was already on the outside, and you just kept following your line and closed in on me. You had plenty of room on the inside.

Hats off to the GT1 & GT2 drivers on server 1. It's very fair and a real pressure. (Although I did get pushed off in one chicane, which was however due to the fact, that a GT1 a GT2 and an nGT tried to go through it at the same time. It almost worked ;) ).

17th October 2009, 23:25
some of the NGT's on server 2 are very unstable and unsafe. They go from one side to the other when being lapped. Not really easy :P Did a mistake (yes, I did :P) on lap 10 in my first stint:schwitz: Had a very good 2nd stint though. The third our wasnt that good. some NGT's turning into me while beeing lapped, and a lot of traffic on the worst places:shrug: anyway... could have been worse :P 13 hours and 30 mins left:schwitz:

Ok 2nd time in the car now, just did 2hours.
Since Fuse had a DC with his pc crashing, bean0 re-joined with a fresh car. Both me and Fuse found the car different in some way...
Fuse got a new pb with it and I was hitting really fast times and the tyres were perfect.
Funny thing is the set is no different.. bean0 has put some sort of vodoo power into it before going to bed lol

great racing. One 36 lap stint form me to do now. It's hard to drive NGT haha it's waiting for the pack of traffic to pass.
GT1 great overtaking, it's a lot safer. This GT2's are dangerous coz speed difference is smaller. Great driving, really enjoying it. We are even in the mood to get top 3 of XFR. UFR is too fast.
Got big, big issues with LFSLA NGT C.Crosa. He was on blue several times, saw him crash out others and even had a crash with me (other NGT) under blue flag in around 7h. Will look it up.
Team 313, sorry to see you disconnect so much. Watching the tracker getting closer bit by bit, +1 lap. 1:10. .. 1:08 ... 1:00 and then Vicbel has issues and off you go. Too bad !!

Currently really enjoying the car. Just got out of a 3 hour stint and I enjoyed every second. I had some battles with other GT2 cars (which were several laps down) which was great fun. I had a strange incident on lap 297 where an NGT decided to drive across the middle of the track and smash me into a wall, causing damage but not too much lost time. I think I have to drive 1 more hour of this race, but not for a few hours yet.

Adam Pettigrew, for a driver I had quite a high opinion of, the past 2 stints has seriously tainted my opinion of you. After one small mistake from me (which I am sorry about, my bad!) you go on for the next 2 or 3 hours with a massive grudge. You were braketesting me and making what seemed to be deliberate contact with me, trying to shove me into the grass.
Now I'm not going to send a report, because I'm not like that, (Well, I've had too little sleep to be bothered really...) but my opinion of you and of Concept Racing has fallen considerably.

We seem to have had trouble lapping you just about every time, you seem unwilling to yield when there is a lapping car alongside.
Your slow-ass GT2 can brake later as you don't need to lose as much speed, this does not mean you should be trying to re-overtake us as soon as we have passed you.
You were a good 4 laps down from the car in front, and 3 or 4 laps ahead of the nearest cars in your class...it's not as if yielding and losing a second would affect your race.

Great race so far. Driving in the nGT`s on server 1, I must say most of the GT drivers do have a little patience to lap us. Of course I saw some brave/desperate moves to overtake during14,5 hours of racing, but IMO it goes very well.
Messed up my first stint when race started, after having no sleep at all my second stint went much better, and third wasn`t bad at all.. So I`m pretty happy with were we got right now.

Yes but if you lot are slower out of a corner trying to overtake us, which has happened alot tonight, why should we have to tootle along behind you, losing so much time in the process.
And also, what has us "not yielding" got to do with you cutting us up as you lap us? At least use your mirrors guys!

This guy twice hit me up the back in a straight line just at the gear changes coming out of hairpins, causing over revving. Not impressive at all.
Oh well, punted off by some idiot kid who seems to be too scared to come out and say why he was changing views when being lapped, rudy's wheel failed pitching us into a wall and a repair stop, engine damage losing us 10kmh throughout my stints, Mark timing out, Mark getting a DT and we still come 3rd only around 10-15s behind CoRe... Svensson just came nearer in corners and went away on straights... and when he tried to overtake there were some very risky tries...
There were just two GT1 cars who were both fast...
I hadn't got Blue Flag and I couldn't have known you were lapping when I came out of the box...
Of course you wouldn´t see a blue flag on all cars anymore as a lot of drivers suffered a DC or did a Shift-p/s. Tracker is the real thing here but you didn´t know, right?
See, I wasn´t on the server. My driver only tells me you block him for 4-5 laps.
Now.. just let´s see the replay and judge again. In case you are right, I appologise. :)

;1286954']Oh, better late than never, but I'd just like to apologise for pushing Absolute Beginners' XFR car in the grass during the 4th hour. Wasn't intentional guys, I thought you were going to let me pass, sorry for that:thumbsup:
I'd say no problem if I knew where did that happen and in what stint.. :-)
...probably it was me ;-)
I hope we did not get quite often into your racing line... always tried to be fair ;) Sadly we were a bit slower then rest of the pack.
Good race though! GT2 are slow in overtaking NGT :-(

That was quite interesting. First time for 4SRT to participate in 16h race, and even though we finished only 18th from GT2, I think it was still good for us, since we only started practicing 4 days before the race, and drove less than 100 laps. :D + missed the qualification and started last. :D
Thanks to the organizers, the broadcasting, commentators and drivers. We hope to participate next year also.
And sorry if 4SRT crashed someone. It's a long race and people get very frustrated and tired. We managed to spin some blue flagged NGT drivers, but it's their own fault, that they can't let us pass under blue flag. :)

on behalf of the Hellenic Racing Team I´d like to thank everybody who was involved in this! All admins and SC drivers did a great job, especially the starting procedure was a dream (and in no comparison to what
i've seen the day before in practice). The tracker could have been working better, but considering the fact that it's quite hard to run one tracker for three servers simultaneous, it all seems to have worked out pretty well. Absolutely every single driver in Server 1 was very fair for the whole 16 hours. I can't comment on the broadcast because obviously i had no time to watch it, but i'm sure it was as great as everything else was today. This was my very first endurance race and i had such a great time i can't even describe. Of course we'd like to congratulate all the teams on the podium as well!
So thank you very much everybody, where do we sign up for next year ?

That was a pretty nice race ;)
Driving from 2h to 6h was really Hardcore for me, my hands were red and keeping the car on the road from 5h to 6h was hard.. but I did it :)
I hope I didn't cause much problems to the NGTs I pushed :shy:

So little Statement from me :)
The Race was really nice :) I practiced a lot and drove a well pace and good times. The Race was for our team the debut in events, same for 2 other drivers. In the morning we had some technical problems with our drivers wheels and pc's, then some pitstop goes wrong a we lost some time. But we started from P45 and finished in P41. It was a nice fight with Racing Minds, Xcite, TDRT... but with many others too. For my teamm8 was the event fun and experience. We will take part next year too with but i hope in better positions :) We learned a lot from this.
I hitted some ohter drivers... I want to say to all SORRY but in the night the concentration goes bit down ... :(
So all in all a nice Event :D Thanks for the good Stream too :) And many respect to RM for the orga
Max and the race Junkies Team :)

The servers did their job well and not only held most of the drivers on them, while the race was running, but even saved the replays afterwards :D.

Well we had one incident early on(within first hour...) that put us at the back of the grid. Our 3rd man wasn't quick enough to even drive... He was pulling 2:11s and burning tires.. :-\
I had to work so when Z. Weiss had connection issues there was no one to take over, putting us about 20 laps back. He was also very agressive with his down shifts so our motor couldn't even pull a 36 sp1. We did a shift+p a few times to get a new motor since that can't be repaired while pitting. More than that, I believe I flipped twice and Z. Weiss flipped once. Shouts out to him for running 2/3rds of the race on his own. I'm looking forward to more endurance races in the future. :)

Sorry if at any point we were a little bit agressive under overtaking situations, it looks like after 16hs of concentration a GT1 driver tends to become a little bit anxious to overtake :tilt::tilt: Anyway, we had only 3 contacts with other cars, 1 GT2, and 2 NGTs, all of them related to unlucky drivers decisions to go same way of the track :D:D
Great Race!! and congratulation to the whole server 1, seems like fast paced guys (not our particullar case :)) are less likely to produce accidents, lucky us to be there :thumb:

...for working admins the last weeks, the next week and while the 16 hour race lasted
...for admins with a really really nice attitude towards us racers !
...doing a good job in balancing the gt1 class with track choice and extra weight, the FXR wasn't the slowest CAR out there imo and the FZR wasn't that slow how expected (from me) like conquest showed in a couple of stint's
...for a 16hour race where nothing went wrong on the admin side
another thank you goes out to FIRST for stopping to dominate the gt1 class and really make the race much more exciting for the teams behind :D

Any idea when all the protests and Shift-S penalties will be applied for final results? I know there a few of these that will likely decide the overall class winners?
Also, any word on what is being done to reconcile the jump start that servers 2 & 3 (both?) got over server 1?
Thanks again for hosting this fantastic event!

I think it was server 1 over 2 & 3, not 2 & 3 over 1. Someone said, that there will be lap penalty for the server which started earlier, or something like that. I don't really know if correctly, so I might be mistaking something.

From what I remember hearing, the offset time would be added to the servers that started earlier, which, IMHO, is fair.
It's not in the drivers' control when they start, so only the offset time should be seen as any kind of "penalty", if you want to call it that.

24th October 2009, 15:35
well with Safety Car start you can't even correct it that easy... SC at server 1 might do lap 10s slower than lets say SC at server 2 also after SC goes to pitlane leader starts sets the pace till S/F line.. so i think such correction isn't as easy as it looks because with such start procedure race effectively starts from lap 2 with already different time shift.. with regular start procedure you could simply correct tracker adding time
