Hello teams:

FOR THE TEST RACE ONLY:

Skin requirements are waived as they are in the rules. We simply require that you run your number on the bonnet and doors of the car. The number must be against a solid background so that the number stands out. The background must stand out from the skin, and the number must stand out from the skin and the background. Please only use rectangular or oval shaped backgrounds. We are not requiring any logos for this round.

We will have the official skin pack out as soon as possible. We are working to secure server providers for GTAL and our other events, which is holding up the pack.

Yes you may use the numberplates from last season for this event. But remember please, that the number MUST be on the bonnet(hood) AS WELL AS the doors. See boldunderlined part in quote below.

It's a skin I got from Vilante a while back with a view to changing the colours while retaining the base design.
The jpg posted needs to be updated though, since Vilante's title layer got missed out.
I've also asked him to make us a completely new skin as well, so hopefully this one will just be for the test event.

My fault for not keeping Vilante's copyright on the skin. I deleted the layer whilst adding the new logos. I'll get the copyright layer again and add it to the skin. :thumbsup:

Both cars have the same driver names on there, it seemed pointless removing names on the #88 skin when #99 had them all, and more pointless also editing #99 for the sake of a test race. I'll fix that if its considered important enough, just seemed silly to do it if not important.

Regarding number boards for Season 2, they were all finished and ready for release a few weeks ago.

But then RaceSIM closed down or something and now I am waiting to see if I need to put a different sponsor on the numberboards or not.

Numero 3: My computer is being repaired by some uncontactable laptop repair man, and therefore my copy of Photoshop is not currently in the same county as I am.
Numero 4: I will clear my PM box now
Numero 5: I will do the number boards as soon as I have my laptop back. Who knows how long that will be though..
