Birthday Bash at South City! [Win a £12 Voucher]

To celebrate my birthday today, October 15th, i felt like holding a competition, not to design a cockpit again, but go for the quickest laptime around an MRT configuration that i made.

So the facts:

Car:MRT5
Track:South City Long, Forward
Prize:£12 LFS Voucher

Why hold this comp?
To give back something to the community once again. We have too many add ons, layouts, skins and help from everyone around the community, people deserve rewards, in this case, whomever is quickest!

Why MRT?
Well i wanted the BF1 without TC, but around south city is abit tricky for the layout i made. MRT can be fun with layouts, and its not used too much.

Why South City?
I love the city!

Why the layout?
Its very unique and needs some explaining before driving it. Its quite odd and confusing, but you should pick it up.

The Layout!

The layout starts you off in a normal race position. You will come across object as soon as you take off. Ignore them for now. The rest of the obstacle, follow it. Its abit modified. Around the last bend of the track you will see Stay left signs, so stay left as it will take you around a loop. (see the red line in pic.001.

It will then take you back in the opposite direction. Now you need to go the back the other way to the start and finish line. When you get there, once again, stay left, and go around the loop taking you back the correct way. (See the red line in pic.002)

Once you come back to the final bend, stick to the right and shoot right through to the finish line, finishing your lap! (See the green line in pic.001)

There you have it, a lap! :)

How to win!
Simply download and complete the layout attached. Save your replay and upload it to the forum. Person with the fastest time wins.
Entries close on October 22nd, 2009 00:00 GMT+10.
I will veiw each replay to see who will win and to make sure its done correctly. If not, ill reply to you.

A great event and a fun layout. My time will get smashed when the aliens show up, but I don't care, I enjoyed this a lot. It might improve in a bit, had to stop to ask the way a few times :p

I want to kill myself.
I was fast, drove a world record, but made a giant mistake.

You guy do know when you are in Single Player that when you pit, your replay gets lost.
Well I kinda forgot that, I went to pits after I phailed at the first obstacle.
After that drove an alien fast time.
Ofcourse wanted to save replay to pickup my check but, guess what?

Replay wordt niet opgenomen = Replay is not being recorded.
Yes indeed, the replay was not able to save anymore ....

Although I do have a screenshot of my laptime, I know it will probably not be counted as valid. I will post it though.
Just to show that I am in fact a fast driver, but fail at brainy stuff :x

I think youre doing the wrong route, i drove like full speed in every corner and i got 6: 20. (EDIT: ups i didn't follow the green line at last part to the finish line.)

Edit: Hes cheating, i can do 1:00 easly by only going to the checkpoints.

Really man? I was hoping to upload my time too!! Guess i wont be winning myself a voucher :P. I managed my first and only go on the track a 6:45.65, no penalties and in the last stage accidently went through the loop on the final straight again! HA! My own layout!

You cleared it up mate. I will view each replay just to see if anything has been done wrong.

There is no cheating in this competition. Its impossible, because ill be viewing each replay.

If someone takes the wrong way and posts a ultra fast time, i wont flame you for cheating, ill just reply to your replay with perhaps a more detailed explaniation on which way to go.

Your 12 EURO is still comming, ive had a really rough few days, and i cant really give an excuse as it only takes 2 minutes to shift it over to your account, but i havent been to the bank to deposit. Issue happens after issue for me at the moment.

If i could somehow give you a legal contract saying i will pay, you the winner, that 12 euro in the next few days i will, but treat that as a contract anyway.

Once again, i would really like to appoligize. The last thing i like is someone on the other side of the world seem like im getting ripped. (talking as if i was in your shoes.)
