WTF? 10 pages of rFactor's Lienz patch? I just wonder was it really that major thing...

Majorly overhyped, and pretty poor in the end... (yes, I did try it for a while to 'get used to it'). Looking forward to reading ASS again - I miss it between issues :)

On the cover it says "West brothers talk", yet I could not find it in the mag. Which page is it??

Its some completely ureadable drivel written in deep south dialect hidden in the news section (page 11). As far as I could tell it contained no information whatsoever.
I love the principle of ASS and the fact that people invest time in producing it, but I really wish the writing was better, and shorter. Downside of PDF over print is that people waffle on for pages and pages about nothing and no-one ever seems to edit it.

No clue what the West Brothers bit was about but the new sim from the RBR physics guy certainly seems promising.

I feel the same way but thought it might be because im not a native speaker.
Shorter and a bit more to the point would be nice :)
Its a great mag again just some positive constructive criticism.

I don't like the font they use, it's not too small, just too thin to be seen without having to zoom in further than would be necessary with other fonts.

Indeed, finally a modern Street Rod type game which also happens to be sim and not a crapmasters type sim, but a proper one. Street Legal tried at that concept, but failed miserably.

Yes, if I read an interesting headline and I will find the main message in the text I NEVER get it.

Did you know that devs of Street Legal had only 1 year to make the 2 SL games? It's mainly the publisher's fault but devs are guilty because they agreed to these terms.

Definately not: http://forum.rscnet.org/forumdisplay.php?f=1021
There's a beta testing going on... I got a private message from some dev few weeks ago about the beta testing, didn't answer though. I think they just randomly selected users in the rscnet.org forum and then sent messages about the beta testing.

:thumb: Totally agree. I often find myself drifitng off in some of the longer articles...
It often still feels as though it's 'sponsored by ISI', with all of the ISI based products over hyped with little constructive critism of their shortcomings.
It's still often a good source for some news as they have access to sims before the release, but I'll probably take any enthusiastic review with a pinch of salt, after I was so completley sucked in by the review of rFactor.
At least Lienz was free, but their hype still amazes me. It just isn't anywhere near as good as they say.....
The 'West Brothers Talk' was seemingly a poor April Fools joke.
