I think 1 is a possibility. That temp gauge has been motionless forever. :) 2-9 and 11-13 all seem extremely unlikely. 10 may be a slight possibility.

I think if an LFS update is in our future rather than just a news update, then the most likely thing changed will be the aerodynamics code to fix the high nose bug.

Other possibilities are setup management, as mentioned by NotAnIllusion, and maybe even asymetric suspension tuning if we're really lucky.

Most of those first listed is what I expect after S2 final is released and S3 developement details. I'd put my money on aerodynamics, updated tire physics, better net code, setup management and perhaps LFS World improvement. Also I recall some car model updates which would be a surprise for me, maybe the brake and engine temp stuff. Basically devs "should" be working to improve the physics and what makes this a raw racing sim, not a snazzy screenshot orgy :scratchch cough gtr2? The eye candy is fine for now, I want physic detailing and stuff along those lines. Please and thank you of course....:thumb:

I truely hope its something to do with sounds, while the way the sounds are produced is good, they do sound awfull, I drove the XFG last night, and for some reason after all this time, was appalled at how it sounded, it was like there was a friggin bee flying around in my headphones........

Yep, and the ability to open the doors so you can fly a bit longer and perhaps some neons in the floor so everyone can see you in the distance and of course night racing so if your timing turning the lights on/off is correct people may thing you are Santa Claus and everybody will say "Ohhh probably this patch surprise is useless but damm it's so fking beauty"

graphics are not as important

Alright:

For Scawen's work I'm betting the engine heating (w/broken rads etc) and maybe brake heating.... And of course the tire/aero fixes....

For Eric's work, I'm thinking maybe new cockpits, updated car models for LX/RB4, and maybe a track config since as you pointed out it was mentioned. Since the track config was mentioned so long ago, I think it was already done, but not released yet and he's had more time to work on these other things.

Vic's work is of course the LFS world, who knows what it will be.

edit: I think it's a few things, since in Scawens post he mentioned "some thingS, if the planned things (read: tires/aero) work out well" (paraphrase)

By "alpha", we mean that everything is in place but not necessarily 100% refined or complete. So nearly all features that will be in the future Final version of S2 are there already, but there will be updates to physics, car models, track scenery, and refinement of features, between the Alpha and Final releases.

engine failures would be good, make you think about your change up and down points

trouble is it would have to be consistent not like that in grandprix where it always felt a bit of a random number generator type formula, also not instant if you overrev but more of a cumlative effect of high revs, throttle, load on engine ( remember revs on the bbc by crammond, f3 engines, give them full throttle at low revs and kaboom) engine temp etc.

Another thing, which would be great is, to have sand/gras on the Track, when someone drove into the gravel and then back on the track. Could be Funny on some corners, where most people cut (Last Chicane Aston nation e.g.) :D

Basically the problem is that there are maybe too many cars in the demo already. But it's hard to change that... But I still I agree... the big GTRs were the only reason for me to buy this game and there was no way of trying the slick cars beforehand.
