Just been Banned from the TeamCCUK server for nothing! Ffs! Someone else caused carnage then pressed BAN NIGHTY and the stupid sheep all press 1.
Stupid to get wound up by a game but I'm a clean racer, not the fastest, but clean. There were people on there that were hitting people all the time but I don't ask to ban them. And if a vote comes up to ban I don't press 1 unless I know what happened or another racer I respect tells me what happened, but the racers I respect are disapearing fast.:(

I saw this race, everyone first turn at SO CLASSIC, and someone from the back was flat out into someone. I didnt see who it was, pretty sure it wasnt you though.
Was getting a bit 'dirty' in there to.

Thats the one, I always take it easy in turn 1 at SO classic taking a wide line then picking a way through the destroyed cars after the turn. I have a pretty good idea who it was, 1 of 2 people, but not naming names as I've calmed down now.
Oh and I've raced on that server/track all week several hours a day with no problems, Not bad for a wrecker.

I drive alot on SO CLassic and T1 scares the hell out of me.
No matter where you are in the field, there is a (big?) chance that someone will use you as brakes.
I even tried to negotiate the corner very very slowly by braking way too early and gently to clearly let others notice that Im loosing speed - almost reaching the apex... will I survive?....almost theeeere.... BANG! ;)
Poor braking is one problem, but alot drivers dont use the side views (not mirrors) to see who's around them - Others zig zag (when on a straight straight) so much that you don't even get anywhere near the corner entry before you are pushed into a spin or a wall.

yes SO classic's first U turn is mostly disastrous if there's bad drivers around, I usually dont do those early brakings, would only make things worse, what I do is I run real wide (if I found the cars are really close behind me) allowing those guys pass me, if they're bad drivers, I could always pass them again at some safer corners :) I rather finish the race clean than putting myself at risk of involving in a crash, but of course, when you're around with good drivers, its always great fun to be able to push hard without worrying too much :)

This is a problem with lfs's ban system, most people see the ban and just think hmmm...lets press 1. Without even the diddliest of clues what has actually happened. Nothing ya can do about it, but its only a 12 hr ban so u shud b able to return :)

Yeah, but you can't keep clear if you are among the top 5 - unless you are willing to trade positions :(
When I do slow down though, I do it when theres no one behind or close to me. But It still occurs because theres an accident happening elsewhere... Driver A rams into driver B - driver A, B or both then collide with me... I can avoid plenty of accidents, but some of them are too close and too fast.
Just had a laugh - recalled a driver from yesterdays race - he went directly into the wall without turning at all... he must have been doing atleast 100km/h .. tsk :)

yes t1, what i always do is start braking slowly at least 50-100 m before the actual braking point, and well, using this method ive always made it past safely and cleanly unless their was a deliberate wrecker.

No, you can't. Not if...
he went directly into the wall without turning at all... he must have been doing atleast 100km/h
...that happends. And honestly I find it happening alot lately :|
He wasn't a wrecker at all, but then again, there are lots of ppl who think they just need to keep the acc. pedal pressed down :|
