We has just started the new danish website at www.liveforspeed.dk (http://www.liveforspeed.dk/)
We started with our forum on www.lfs-forum.dk (http://www.lfs-forum.dk/) 6 months ago. Later on we decided to get hold on the domain name www.liveforspeed.dk (http://www.liveforspeed.dk/) and we suceeded in doing that. The last couple of months we have talked about the plans with the site and we came up with what your are seeing there. Its a danish site and the language is of course in danish, but i would recommend to visit it because we got an interview with Victor and he could tells us something you haven`t heard yet!!. Yes something new!.. If you cant read it in danish we will link to the original Interview in english.

Thanks for the interview. As Tweaker said, nice to have some insight and clues into what is and isn't going on while we patiently wait for the next "official" piece of news on LFS. Helps manage everyone's expectations. :)

Most of the questions/answers were kind of "bla bla bla yadda yadda yadda" but the last one was great. Or the answer was great. Now we finally have some "official" date. If something does not happen in April we can kick dev's arses. :D I think it can't be just a progress report.

I don't think I inferred that he said anything will be released did I? My reference was to the last time any of them mentioned a date and the trouble it caused them, so they must have to think twice before risking that again, be it for a patch release or, as we shall realistically assume is the case here, a press release.

Now if you think that it only takes Scawen 1 minute to change the default setting, it makes one wonder why they set the poll close date for 3rd of april and not later. I would suspect that they were hoping to be finished with all other things by that point, then change the default setting, if appropriate, and release the new patch...

Look at the nkpro threads where people say that "no one has tested it yet" or "have you played it already - that's right, no one has, so just wait and see". It seems people are expecting miracles now, when we are talking about LFS. As victor said, there might be a surprise.

Well....Victor said in the interview: "Make sure you're set to receive our newsletter". And newsletters are sent when a new patch is out right? And if I got it right, the patch isnt the surprise but something in it should be :P

Both Kyoto configs are pretty long. That's why it's so unpopular track. And my suggestion would include the best section from the whole track altough it would need some work...

tires wear are a big problem on long track for now, that is the main reason imo for the long track to be so unpopular...I'm sure, if we were allowed to race on the nordschleife, there will be lots of people in love with it :shy::razz: if they can do more than one lap by not having to drive like a grandmother :tilt:
