I'm looking for MPR replays - preferably of XFG on Blackwood, as I'm still a demo user. I hope to learn a few things (e.g. overtaking) by watching the experienced drivers race.
Does anyone have (a link to) MPR replays of good races?

Head to LFSworld (link at top of page) and go to the hotlap section. if you click on the hotlap time in the list you'll be able to d/l the replays straight off there - theres even an option to 'test drive' their setup in LFS
the hotlap replays are *.SPRs as opposed to *.MPRs which record in less detail (i think:shrug:)

Head to LFSworld (link at top of page) and go to the hotlap section. Those are SPRs (single player replays): only one car. They're great for learning how to get the car around the track fast. But they won't show you how to race against other (human) drivers: overtaking, pitting, returning to the track after an off, etc.
What I'm looking for are Multi Player Replays: recordings of online races.

Your best best is to join servers and simply watch all drivers...
If you like oval, the the [FM]OvalJunkies server is a good place to watch lots of drivers, lots of over taking...
But if you want track moves, your best bet would be to view a event, ask permission first, but I'm sure no1 will mind a spectator as long as you don't lag out the server!

There are some pretty good mpr's in this thread (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=406&highlight=post+replays) (and some bad ones with big crashes etc)

Isn't this what the LFS educational Movies at the top of this forum section all about? Havn't looked at them myself but they might be worth a look.

MPR s are good too though for entertainment value as well as racing education. Edutainment if you like.
I like MPRs over movies because the file size is usually smaller, you can change views, use slow-mo and it's in game, so more detailed than most movies.
Rewind would be nice though :thumb: .

I want to share this replay, because it was a nice race, untill banshee showed up and another guy. Anyone else having troubles with this guy? Because I was really enjoying this race and I wanna get even with him. By the way, the crashing for me started in lap number 7, reason more to get pissed off, the end of the race was getting in sight.
