I have a good idea for the next patch, if it is not hard to do..
I was thinking of a change when i spectate a race.., to be able to see when someone looks left, right, behind.. you know.. to see how does he drive, and how he observs around him.. Also.. when watching my own replay, when i am aboard myself, or someone else in the replay, to see when i(he) was looking right, back, or behind him.. You know, that way i could tell if that guy behind me is a causios driver.. or if he rammed me, i wanna know if we was looking right/left/back when he hit me... etc...
I would really apreciate if this could be done, and of course if it is not a hard work, because i don't want destracting you guys from S3.. ;)

In the replay, you can see if they moved their head or not, but when viewing replay from cockpit view you have dynamic control over it so you cannot "see" when they do it..
If you are watching a replay and go into a car that is near another car, and look left (just to be able to see the other car)- you can see the guy in the car next to you looking at you if he did in the race.
Basically what I am saying is that the replay does record head movements- you just can't tell when viewing form cockpit view.. Maybe an option in the replay to "bind head movement to replay data" or something like that would work?

Yea.. that is exactly what i meant.. I know that replay records head movement, but i wanna actually see when he was moving the head, from the cockpit view..

or, a camera on the hood looking toward the driver. (just an idea)

Cool we are on the same page.. I have thought about that too- it would be cool for sure.
Just a side note- they could still allow for dynamic control by the person viewing replay, and just make the camera move left or right with replay data.. They wouldn't have to make you lose control all together..

Yes... Now i wonder how hard is it to do this... I think it's a very good idea, also to help new drivers when they spectate, to see how fast drivers are looking when they race...

This is a very good way for new players to learn to drive.. Just watch the leading driver, and see when he is looking left, right, behind, and also very helpful in replays to see if some guy was aware of yoy by looking, or he was just watching ahead of him... I wont let this thread go in "page 2" because i think that this is excellent idea for next patches.. ;)

To be honest, I'd find that annoying, to lose control over my view because the driver happens to look to the side. If I want to see when he looks left or right, I'll use a custom camera that has the driver in its view.

you can do that already, and you will see the head movements too.
