DRS Motorsport-Party 2009

Am 18.07.2009 ab 20 Uhr in der ehrwürdigen Wuppertaler "HAKO Event-Arena" (http://www.hako-sport.de (http://www.hako-sport.de/)) zelebrieren wir die erste "Motorsport Party" in 2009. Neben vielen bekannten aktiven Motorsportlern und Sim-Equipment-Produzenten (u.a. Jan-Erik Slooten, Kati Droste, Oliver Klass) möchten wir Euch einladen gemeinsam unsere Hobby, den realen und virtuellen Motorsport, zu huldigen! Durch das Programm führt die Stimme Wuppertals Thorsten Hesse, für die richtige Stimmung auf der anschl. After-Show-Party wird die Band "The Bow" mit ihren aktuellen Programm "Songs from another Century" sorgen. Wir freuen uns über Euren besuch...

Basically he's saying that they are celebrating their first motorsport party, there's gonna be obviously stuff to do with real and virtual motorsport, a band as well, and they're looking forward to you visiting ;)

On July 18th 2009 beginning 20:00 CEST in Wuppertal's "HAKO Event-Arena" we're celebrating the first "Motorsport Party" in 2009. Alongside several known active motorsport athletes and Sim-Racing-equipment producers, we invite you to be part of the part of the party and to honour our hobby of real and virtual motorsport. Thorsten Hesse is the host of the evening. The band "the Bow" plays on the after-show-party with their recent progam "Songs from another century".

For everybody who wasn't at the DRS Motorsportsparty 2009 a small review:

Nearly on time Thorsten Hesse began with a welcome to everybody, who was visiting this event, and led the evening with a lot of charme. It was not only a Ceremony, but the whole program was worthy to fill a Saturday evening. Jan-Erik Slooten (http://www.wz-newsline.de/?redid=67125), but also Kati Droste (http://www.kati-droste.de/) introduced themselves skilfully and sympathetically and answered the well-researched questions and contributed to the relaxed atmosphere. Oliver Klass (PLAYSEATS, http://www.playseats.de), Herrmann Muck (http://www.nexxter.com) and Martin Bals (MultiBC, http://multibc.com) were also questioned and were prepared to talk about their interests. Hermann Muck, who is selling ingame advertising, such an evening could take place once per month. These events, also called "virtual meets reality events", help us to extend the Communities.

Of course our VIPs handed over the many awards for the revently completed seasons of the LTCC, GTCC, OWC, Mixcup and the Race of Masters.

A highlight certainly was the presence of Victor van Vlaardingen. We are sure, that we don't need to introduce him any further. It was nearly like we knew him since a long time and only got him to know as a real person. With a smile on his face he took the Scirocco with a scale of 1:87. Almost a bit moved he handed our Community Award to the winners, the award, he is godfather of. The "Victor" Award was certainly one of the most beautiful Awards this evening and you could also see this when the Winners took their prices.

DRS Special-Award: Inga Bigge (HAKO Event-Arena)

It was so fantastic to get in contact to Victor van Vlaadingen.:thumbsup: I hope you get the next event as soon as possibel.
