Track Marshals (alive??)

Would it be cool if the race marshals on the sides of the track be programed to turn there heads and watch the cars go by? I always notice how neet it is that they are there, but so inanimate.

It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to do (except when large packs of cars go by), and it could go a long way to add a degree of realism to the marshals.

It appears that the models of the track marshals are the same as the drivers, whose heads already turn. If the cameras of the tv perspective can follow me, it seems like the marshals heads could tilt as well.

I don't know, thats why I asked. I seem to notice every time I drive Blackwood. All I'm saying is it would be a relatively easy change, and it (for me) would make LFS a lot more believable.

:thumb: I think they should have the marshals waving flags before they get into the teeny itsy bitsy details of those sorts. GTR has marshals waving flags like the yellow, whenever Scawen can get the flag system working with no bugs and hinges. I'm sure then we can worry about what our eyes will see in half a second. :tilt:

yep.. all good until you start using them as brake points and then stare at them and miss the brake point :shrug: :D

I usually only notice the marshalls if I've smacked a fence and I'm right near them...they don't notice me though - they just stare straight ahead and ignore me :(

It would be a nice touch if you where near them (crashed or whatever) and they did show a degree of interaction. Wouldn't mean much, just one of those nice little touches that would just put LFS that bit more above the competition.
