Rainy weather in LFS2!!

How about the changing weather conditions? Sometimes I feels like drifting in the rainy conditions, and also in the rain, the race would be more exciting! If the weather can change randomly, the pit strategy will be more interesting!!

I think the devs havent said anything about that. Its more like a generall assumption.

I'd hope weather was in LFS1, but if not then LFS2, if it ever happens would be a good thing to include.

Yeah, it would be cool if your were in the middle of a race and a heavy shower came along, everybody diving into the pits, the usual mayhem, but that would be excellent. Possibly even snow for a rallyx track?!?:shrug:

I was thinking about driving in rainy weather when driving a Formula XR, and I started wondering what to do with the rain drops that should get stuck on the viser. same thing with all open cars... and if driving a open car offroad, (and they make the change that mud can get sprayed from the tires), should mud be able to get stuck on the viser?

I think that that would be very cool. anyway, the idea is that in the game you would have plastic strips in front of the viser (like in real racing) that you would be able to pull off (with hand movement and all:)) when the vision gets to covered..

Devs, never said and never will say nothing about, because, most people from words on a dev like : is an interesting idea , i will take it for future... , people transform it in will be in next patch ...

I found very good this little distance of devs at forum , is fantastic that we can ask hims, but i think is needed a diference from standard user.

i suppose we wont see rain before the graphic engine gets a serious rework (shaders for weather effects and the like)

It's supposed to happen. Just have patience =P WOuld make it much more interesting, but work out the kinks in the physics first IMO. But what do I know, I am a gamer, not a programmer. I leave that job for people that are actually smart.:tilt:
