When i go to the pit or something. 50% of the times it says can't open and then a whole bunch of filenames... then i cant play anymore. cause all the textures are missing. only when i reboot my computer then im able to play again... i tried to install catalyst 6.3. but it had the same problem. so now im back with 5.11

whats up with this?

Intel P4 3,2 ghz
768DDR RAM
Ati Radeon 9700 PRO
Windows XP SP2

Are you sure you have unpacked the ZIP file and you are not playing from ZIPped archive? Also download LFS again(from another source) and try....

EDIT: And be sure you are not downloading a pacth, but the FULL.(Patch: approx 2MB, Full: approx 130MB)

Its surprising how common that mistake is.

My only suggestion is checking that all the reported missing files are OK, and possibly redownloading LFS - you may have a dodgy download.

On forums it is assumed that you are until proven otherwise. Most common error lies between keyboard and the chair. :p

hehe apparently :P

it seems to be fixed now.. didnt change a thing though..

oh well.. lets see how long it lasts :P
