What logitech wheel do you have? That said they should all work fine.
First download the wingman drivers as they are better than the default MS supplied logi drivers.
Then make sure you are set up as split axis and you should be fine.

Download the wheel driver from here http://www.wingmanteam.com/ and install them. Then open your control panel and there gamecontrolers. Your wheel should be displayed there, doubleclick on it and click on settings. You'll see some options there, like combined axes (yes / no) etc...
combined axed mean that you set brake and throttle to ONE pedal, so better don't do it ;)
Press on OK and you're done here.
Open LFS and go to -> options -> controls to configure your wheel here.
- set your wheel turn (how many degrees you can turn your wheel) etc.
- click on "axes / ff" to define the axes of your wheel for LFS
than it should be working :)

should also point out.. to go into control panel and turn off combined throttle and brake pedal...there should be a small little box so simply untick it..
then go into lfs and set up your pedals.... think you will also have to invert the brake and accelerator pedals in lfs.....

k i did that, i selected axis and that and downloaded the drivers, but the pedals arent working, and when they do its the opposite, so i have to take my foot off the pedals to accelerate..

did that but it just sits in neutral, and the shifter wont hold gears so i have to have it pushed the whole time, which makes driving a chore

Try recalibrating the wheel in-game...

The first 2 sliders in the controls options (of LFS) are "wheel turn" and "wheel turn compensation". The first one make sure you didn't change it from the default of 270. Wheel turn compensation you can adjust to your liking. Basically it is mostly for a DFP, but for you, 0 will turn more with smaller input and 1.00 will turn the car less with bigger input. For the twitchy cars, I use 1.00 (FOX / F08). For the others I use 0.5.

thanks very much. I've had to use the two top red buttons on my MOMO wheel instead of the footpedals. Much obliged from me as well.
