XRT STOCK CAR CUP
Summer 2009

RSRadicals (http://www.rsradicals.com/website2/) along side League of the Americas (LOTA) (http://www.lfs-lota.net/index.php) are pleased to present the summer 2009 season of the XSCC.

The XSCC is an XRT-only series consisting of 5 intense oval races, and 3 road course challenges. 2 of our oval events are run on custom short track ovals. This series is styled after Stock Car racing so there are Safety car starts/restarts, Lucky dog rule applies for lapped cars, as well as requiring pitstops. All events are run on Sundays starting at 18:00 UTC (14:00 EST).

This seasons events will include the Kyoto Ring All Star Challenge featuring the special knockout formula, custom short track ovals courtesy of (Phil Diaz from CoRe Racing) are sure to thrill with door to door action for over 80 laps.

Drafting at over 140mph, close, hard, knuckle-biting racing is yours to be had in this premiere XRT series. The XRT takes skill and daring to race close lap after lap. Are you Radical enough (http://www.rsradicals.com/website2/) to compete with some of the best XRT drivers in LFS (http://www.lfs.net/)? If so please head on over to the LOTA (League of the Americas) (http://www.lfs-lota.net/index.php) wesite and register.

yes, to sign up to this series, we need people to signup via the LOTA website. Shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes and many of us will gladly help you if you have any problems at all........

Let me know if you have any issues......

PLEASE TAKE NOTE
We have found that there is a conflict with the first race of the season and quite a few drivers will not be able to make the race. After consultation with the other STCC admins, we've made the decision to move the date by a week for the first race, making the first two races taking place week on week.

This means the first race will move from 14th June to 21st June. The changed schedule will now be:

Schedule & Tracks:

Race#1 - 21-June-2009: Kyoto 200 presented by TechWiz- KY1 (2 lap Q, 110 lap Feature)

Race#2 - 28-June-2009: South City Grand Prix presented by Fanatec- SO5 (20min Q, 65 Lap Feature.)

Race#3 - 12-July-2009: Samsung Desert Shootout- AU1 Phoenix (2 Lap Q, 2 Sprints 25 Lap[knockout], 75 lap Feature)

Race#4 - 26-July-2009: Kyoto Grand Prix presented by UGT-Servers.com- KY2, (20 min Q, 75 lap Feature)

Race#5 - 9-Aug-2009: SteelSeries 200- KY1R, (2 Lap Q, 110 Lap Feature)

Race#6 - 23-Aug-2009: 500Servers City Classic- SO1 ( 20 min Q, 75 Lap Feature)

Race#7 - 13-Sep-2009: The Logitech Mile- AU1 Martinsville (2 Lap Q, 2 Sprints 25 Laps[Knockout], 85 Lap Feature)

Race#8 - 27-Sep-2009: LG All Star Challenge- KY1 All Star Challenge (2 Lap Q, 2 X 21 lap Sprints 52 lap Feature)

For those drivers already signed up for the first week, we hope this change will not mean you can not attend but for the benefit of the series, we've had to make this change.

The dates will be changed on the LOTA site at some point today.

Hey Buck, you can sign up to any LOTA series at the same time (as long as they don't conflict in dates). If you want to drive in the FGP2C as well, you can as those run on Thursday nights.

i will rush to race the FGP2C, because the events start at 21h30 UTC [18h30 here], and i go out of the office everyday at 18h.

BUT I WILL MAKE IT, BECAUSE I LOVE THIS GAME, AND THE COMMUNITTY!

BTW the FGP2C runs at 21:30 EDT (North American), therefore 1:30 GMT/UTC. Your time should be similar to the NA time. Depending on which part of Brazil you are in, it can start anywhere between 21:30 and 23:30 your time. :D

You can post a preveiw in the XSCC skins section here. So the Admins can check that it complies with the theme for the series.

Thanks Todd

As I've stated in the LOTA forums (which seem inactive for a LOTA series), why change ALL the dates, only the first race needed a delay. This is not only without point, but also without reasoning. And I'm not alone to think this.

I'm pretty sure they aren't changing all the dates of the actual races, just the tracks that go on that date. The only date that is being changed is that we are tacking on an extra race to the end.

Yea, I guess. Makes sense. But their continous talking of changing dates got some of us confused. Anyways, let's hope everything will run in better fashion in the upcoming races. :) See you on track!

We'll be sending out a PM to all drivers through the LOTA site tomorrow.... Sorry for all the issues and confusions with dates. All will be made very clear tomorrow (I hope ).

Hello all competitors.

All race dates have been updated. All dates remain the same. The only change is an extra race date on the end of the calendar. We are effectively starting the series over on the 28th of June.

Please see revised schedule here (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=57976), or Here. (http://www.lfs-lota.net/index.php?action=rlm_league;sa=series;id=35)

Thanks Todd

I've fixed you up, Mr. Falkenburg. You should be eligible to race today. :thumb:

EDIT: For future consideration, this forum section is for announcements only (and some discussion), so if you need response from a LOTA Official, please use the contact form on the LOTA site. You'll likely get much faster response.
